I did interviews for AEON and GEOS, and then decided it was a bad idea after reading the small print. JET is probably good though.

JET is solid, they take good care of you. I met with a lot of JET goers last time I was in Japan and they all loved it, as did my Japanese instructor who was a former JET teacher. I'm bummed I never got to it, and now I'm married which makes living abroad for a year somewhat problematic. Watch out for some of the other programs though, I've heard a lot of nightmarish stories.

I've heard only good things about JET from at least 4 different participants. Really keen on it myself
