lebron is saving over $12 million in property taxes by signing with the heat. the rest of the difference will be covered with an increase in endorsements and international branding. he's not taking less money.

This could be a massive moneyspinner if they click and start dominating. Worldwide audiences like in Jordan's time. Looking forward to watching them (lose to the celtics).

It doesn't even matter now. Comparisons of LeBron to ANY of the pantheon of superstars he loves so much are now completely useless to draw. MJ, Larry, Magic, Isaiah...not one of them ever had a game like LeBron did in Game 5 against the Celtics.

Even if LeBron wins one now, it will be remembered that he had to become Wade's bitch first. I find it all a bit funny in the end...The King surrounded himself with really stupid people; nothing else explains why he'd do something like this ESPN show. Leaving Cleveland, in light of how he went out in that final game against Boston...like a fucking BITCH....was already going to be debated for years to come. Going out while on national TV in front of Boys-n-Girls Club wallpaper of little kids, without even the slightest indication that he gave a fat rat's ass about Ohio, after Jim Gray basically licked his dick for 10 minutes....just.... .

all true. you know why jim gray licked his dick for 10 minutes? because he was hand-picked by lebron to do the interview. everyone in that room was hand-picked by lebron.

i love how the cavs management found out, by cell phone call given by one of lebron's "associates" 2 mintues before the announcement.

now cavs management is saying lebron shut down all communication with them after the playoffs, all through the free agent and new coach recruitment process. dunno if thats true or just sour grapes, but if its true, sure makes lebron look even worse.

i can understand the outrage from the cavs and their fans. they did everything to accommodate the self-proclaimed "king james" and he just shuts them out and jumps on a team that has two other superstars in chase of a ring, something he said he would never do. even if he manages to win a couple of rings, it will be said he did it on the coattails of two other great players. still a douche, always a douche. and the NBA lost any credibility it might have had left with the gong show that preceded this.

i think the whole espn analysis of the pre-analysis, post-analysis, and post-analysis analysis special was just to prepare cleveland for the heartbreak

I think most people in Cleveland, sadly and naively, believed there was no way their favorite son would get on national TV in front of a bunch of kids, for an entire fucking hour, just to break their hearts. He did exactly that in the end, like a spoiled punk heartless bitch.

In addition, Fathead.com, an online retailer owned by Cavs owner Dan Gilbert dropped the price of its LeBron Fathead wall decals from $99.99 to $17.41, which happens to be the same year Revolutionary War traitor Benedict Arnold was born.

that guy is on a mission to make sure no one will even think about going there because of what will happen when they leave.

Not one mention of Jesse Jackson's brilliant remarks about how Gilbert has that "slave-owner mentality"?

The first time the Heat visit cleveland, Lebron best be wearing some body armor.
