It's a pity that the facebook film really only serves to help the naive and disconnected to feel plugged into something that they'll never understand. Even obvious ideas like say making a film about a public figure who is in the news RIGHT NOW is something the movie marketing is jumping all over this moment I didn't see 127 hours but i even thought that was trying to capitalize on this phenomenon as well. Even that movie with Sean Penn called 'fair game' reeked of this , where he played joe wilson. I always think TV shows are better formats for 'ripped from the headlines' stories, although i have to admit i really did like Social Network.
