Bobby Womack & Damon Albarn - The Bravest Man in the Universe

Recommended Posts

Debated about posting this, but there are some Albarn/Gorillaz fans here, so...

An electronic album for sure, although it sets uneasily in that genre. Basically take the single for Stylo and expand it to an album. Some of his singing over the dubsteppy tracks is truly bizarre.

Heard it the other day. At first I was impressed now I'm not sure. It just sounds like an Gorillaz album with just womack and (a little) lana del ray. the production is good but not great, the vocal is obviously great but the "songs" are always fully formed

haven't heard this yet but will be giving it a go as i like Albarn and (most of) his music.

haven't enjoyed some of the Gorillaz collabs and it makes you wonder why he wanted to work with some of those bigger named people, really. but most of his songs, from 1989 - 2012, are really good and inspired, catchy, and interesting tunes, imo. :)

Damon Albarn - Dr Dee after Bobby Womack - The Bravest Man in the Universe...

I find that Damon is tired 2B renewed... What a pity!
