you're actually considering going to anything that has been organised by them, after BLOL2012?

Actually yes.

There's far less chance of them fucking up a festival the same way they did before. Doubtless they learned a shit load from the ordeal.

My reasons for not going aren't just factored by the complete fuck up, they also include the (in my opinion) completely schizophrenic line up that was billed.

I still can't believe they had Gary Numan there. not to say that I don't like him, I do. I just really don't think he's the right fit for BLOC.

If they have it back in Butlins, yes.

What the fuck am I gonna do for a festival in March?

dunno about March but I would suggest waiting out for Bangface in September instead ;)

Long way off, I might go too. Newquey is a pain in the hole to get to. I like a nice March festival.

Butlins again would be awesome. but, I really doubt that will happen :(

I agree, but they always had some weird acts that didn't exactly fit. Grandmaster Flash, Salt n Pepa, Ms Dynamite. All part of the fun!

I was talking about Bloc the other day...

I thought that they would put 'something' on this year possibly..or later

I'd really love it to be at Butlins too, anywhere else I'd be really disappointed tbh.

Butlins Minhead is a no go zone for raves for various reasons.

Pretty sure some of the crew will be involved the the Dedbeat thing this spring in Cornwall.

I find this so depressing. It was pretty much perfect for Bloc. I never bought the reasons about them "outgrowing" Minehead.

Saw some line-ups appear on facebook, looks like a weekly event running for a few months starting in March. Model 500, Juan Atkins, Surgeon, Marshall Jefferson, Cosmic TRG, Green Velvet, Appleblim, Shackleton etc....

Looks like back to basics club night to test the waters.... a very wise move IMO.

you don't think it's shady that they are able to put on nights like this while people are still chasing refunds that should be owed?

bloc must still have some assets / capital behind them if they are able to book headline acts and secure a central london venue.... If people are still owed money then are bloc aware? If they had gone completely up the shitter and changed names too, people would never have known this was them.
