BCM Posted September 9, 2013 Share Posted September 9, 2013 also think it sounds fine - the kick drum might be a little shallow and clicky, but i think that's more the choice of instrument rather than the mixing - it actually stands out of the mix very well, but personally I would swap it out for a sample/instrument with a bit more depth and low end. If your brother wants a sort of 'mastered sheen' on it he could always add a subtle little high shelf. But I like slightly darker mixes, so the tune sounds great to me as is.
