  1. how was it bagger? It looks delicious. Like motor oil. If you like stouts, try this one sometime if you can find it. Barrel aged "norse ale" (it's stout, whatever) lol. It's in my top 5 beers.

Ok listened to more of this last night, some of it is mental. In a good way.
  3. Lighten up Also have you read the rules yet?
  4. wow, that actually made me kinda tear up a bit to see just how original and unique of an artist he was even in his early days. this article is incredibly inspiring. thank you. What the fuck does this "incredibly inspire" you to? Become a loud obnoxious cunt to your neighbours? Read the whole thing again and replace any mention of Aphex/Richard with "David Guetta" or whatever. Still going "wow" and "tear up" at all the "incredibly inspiring" waxing lyricals and flowery language? ffs Angry Tri. hot

since elseq came out ive been listening to ae_live a bunch. digging elseq plenty, its like i dont want to get behind or something. theres so much to still unlock or whatever. krakow makes me suspect owdegger snuck in an hour long composition, standing behind their gear watching the crowd listen to it for the first time. the beginning section, the first 10 minutes or something, i dont see how any of that could be improv, it's so intricate, layered, perfect, and demonstrative of masterful composition. Don't get me wrong! There are phenomenal tracks so far off elseq. I don't know if it's the length of the tracks that's intimidating or what but I can't dig my claws into it all. Yet. They're still new. I'm not dismissing them. heh. The ae_live stuff grabbed me right away. As for the ae_live, I've heard Dour, Dublin, Krakow, Kratowice, and Ultrecht now. They all have a very distinct vibe. We're definitely lucky to have so much to sink our teeth into one way or another. #same I said as much in an live set from the Oversteps tour thread last night. I'm feeling the live sets the past 5-6 years more than I am the 'proper' releases (Exai, L-Event, elseq) and though all of the releases have some amazing tracks, overall they're sort of hit and miss for the most part. Exai was my introduction to autechre. It was immediately one of the strangest but best things I'd ever heard. Still is. Getting into autechre so late in the game, I missed out on all the oversteps live stuff. There aren't any soundboards, as I understand it? You have any really good quality crowd recordings by chance?
  6. This. Plus, all the people bitching about shipping costs. I just want to remind you that shipping was $8.05 total for me for vinyl AND cassette. I'm not being a troll, I'm just saying shipping costs maybe have a bit more to do with your carriers, taxes, etc than bleep marking shit up. I noticed that the lowest cost option was some sort of signed for, tracked mail btw. I had 2 lower cost options when I signed out. Not sure why that varies by region? =/

I'm probably the only person on WATMM that feels this way, but the AE live stuff is more for me. I'm enjoying tracks off the Elseq1-5 releases but overall the live stuff is more for me. It's more accessible I guess. I find it difficult to get into really long sporadic tracks, that's all. Not slagging the releases, there are some gems on here for sure. Maybe over time I'll change my mind.
  8. I couldn't feel my face when I got mine out, was all drooly. Went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist was all giggly. I thought she was flirting with me. Got home and had a deece size ring of blood around my mouth lol. Looked like was eating a raw steak, or something far more disgusting.
  9. That site says the bonus track comes with CD or cassette. I get that it might not have worked on the vinyl, but will my wav download have it as well? =/ The EP site says it's included with CD, cassette, and digital. "07. 2X202-ST5* *CD, Cassette and Digital track only, included on download available with vinyl" http://www.cheetah-ep.com/ thx m8
  10. Human Revolution is up there with my favorite games of all time. Hype factor 10/10 for Mankind Divided. It looks seriously so good.

  12. Yeah it's terrible. I hate my good job, free healthcare, beautiful backcountry, plentiful weed etc.
  13. I'm not understanding the complaints on the shipping cost? It cost me $8.05USD total to ship the vinyl AND cassette to Canada? http://imgur.com/8HnRtuW
