I haven't heard syro yet but have to ask... did you get ear fatigue from Exai? I get the impression syro is jam packed with sound. Edit: I use exai as an example because I found that gave me ear fatigue.

dammit bleep. edit: link I don't understand what that means. If the german Amazon says release date is the 19th (which it does), then the release date for my territory is tomorrow and Bleep will somehow figure that out and give me the files tomorrow? Yes exactly. They know where you are because you have to enter an address when you preorder it. Very true. They ARE both by the same person so it makes sense.

great, thanks :) 64kbps/44.1kHz mp3 samples instead of Honest Jon's 64kbps/22kHz mp3 samples. whats with all the static on the metz track? =S edit: and by that I mean all the tracks. Mad amount of static. Watermark of some sort? A lot of these tracks are terribly distorted. Possibly on purpose? maybe our sound cards aren't meant to play such shit quality (64kbps) lol But yeah it's incredibly distorted, no way it's intentional....

Wow, instantly got into "sinc" - thanks! will be listening to the rest of the tracks next hour ;) Trail Quest and Green lanes are amazing, some of my favorite melodies of all time. srry off topic I know. I can't preview the tracks at work. I'm so tempted to when I get home, don't know if I can contain myself.

That's fine if you don't like it/it's not to your personal taste. But what do you mean by it "isn't that great"? Is there something you've heard recently that you find better? Something specific that makes the album not great? IE lack of technical skills? I find it hard to believe that it's not good music, although I understand if it's not to your taste.. =/ Well first off its perfectly mixed and mastered! But personally this album lacks the magic the other albums had. I tried to figure out why it didnt suit myself but its hard to say. Its definitly good music but... well listen to it by yourself =) makes sense. That said, sometimes I find albums need quite a few listens as well as some time for it to age to add context before I appreciate them. Maybe it's a grower =) I think because there is already sooooooooooooooooooooo much music similar to Aphex Twin that it of course doens't sounds that impressive. But yeah, still good muzak. Nah - probably im just a fan of the more melodic "easier" things ; also a reason why i struggle sometimes with druqks. Did you like uziqs Somerset Avenue Tracks this year?
