  1. I get the sinking feeling that dank memes are on life support, after a steady 4-year run. I hope I'm wrong.
  2. Had a dream early this morning that the entire outdoor area surrounding my work building was flooded, including the parking lot. Granted there's already a massive puddle given that the parking lot is trenched down the center coupled with melting snow, but nowhere close to the flooding in Nebraska as of late. I guess it could be attributed to my deep-seeded fear of long-term climate change.
  3. I hope they at least set up food vendors that serve chebureki, piroshki, blini, shashlik, etc at next year's campaign rallies
  4. Apparently I have a case of swimmer's ear but haven't been swimming in years. Ear drops aren't really doing anything, and no way am I shoving a cotton swab down my ear canal.
  5. Corporate Dems = Expired Leftovers. If Bernie gets the carpet yanked out from underneath him again by DNC leadership for the sake of shoving a Corporatist down our throats, like what happened on June 7th, 2016, then it's pretty much guaranteed a second term for Trump.
  6. Problem is how common they are in the world nowadays. Whoever gives a mass shooter praise like that deserves to get castrated with a superheated steel wire.
  7. Get a toothpick into that bad boy - If it's anything like mine it collects more fluff than my belly button..... I miss the fix-ability of my S3 though. For 3 quid ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Genuine-Samsung-replacement-assembly-headphone/dp/B00D42RXEW/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_4?keywords=samsung+Galaxy+SIII+headphone+module&qid=1553179110&s=electronics&sr=1-4-fkmrnull ) you could replace the entire sound module, no soldering - Just a few tiny tiny screws and a cable that you unclip and then reclip with the replacement module AFAIK the rear casing of my phone must be removed entirely, and the inner jack replaced altogether. And then some kind of hot glue or waterproof sealant is necessary to close it back up afterwards if I'm not mistaken. But I'm not sure it's worth the trouble for a 3-year-old phone at this point.

There were a lot of strung-out arseholes at the actual show, but the ending sounded even better in person. Remember when we left the Vancouver show, right outside of the exit there was two people sitting on a mat or mattress shooting up? lol Shawn and Bob hightailed it onto their bus really quick. ah memories lol. Yeah I think the bus was already started and they were getting ready to board by the time we made it outside.

  10. Hopefully crying Pepe will become a reality towards the end of next year.
  11. I've just killed my fifth mouse using traps. I swear I've never had a mouse problem at my place until last December. One of the little bastards chewed up the wood from the cabinet underneath my bathroom sink. Some might consider this savagery, but I couldn't allow the infestation to continue unabated. Besides, the traditional spring-loaded swing bar traps are pretty much an instant kill. Hopefully that was the last one. And congrats on your degree, Lada. Sorry if I'm late to the party.
  12. I already posted about this in the stupid FWP thread, but I ended up reverting back to my 8-year-old HTC Desire android phone recently to use strictly as a music player, because the headphone jack is toast in my primary phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge). Funny how older phones can actually be more reliable in this manner, although the controls and interface on the HTC seem to have lost some functionality over time.
  13. Technically that's correct. But "cries" in this context is shrieking or exclamation, rather than sobbing or weeping.
  14. So the Epic Games Store snatched up Metro Exodus, then recently Phoenix Point (which was crowdfunded for the past year up to this point), and now The Outer Worlds. There's already been common complaints about security issues regarding the Epic launcher. And those were some of the games I was most looking forward to. Obviously 2019 is shaping up to be the year of Steam (Valve) vs Epic. I'm not gonna go into any further of a rant on the issue, but I still find the migration of these latest titles to an inferior and shady platform for the sake of a bigger revenue cut disheartening.

Portland show was great. Wish I could've been at the final one in Denver though. They went balls out on that set.
  16. Decided to try Earth Defense Force 4.1 because it was on a 25 percent off Steam sale, and it had promising user reviews. It has a janky UI but it's pretty enjoyable so far. The English NPC voices were annoying af tho, as they sounded like cliche anime voice actors. So I ended up changing them to Japanese whilst retaining English text. But it would be nice if there were subs too.
  17. The hood preacher from Spirit of Truth. Classic.
