  1. I've occasionally imagined what rew(1) would sound like with lyrics. But then again lyrics might ruin it
  2. Lest the subject of the other thread spill over into this one, elaborate more on your response than just "lol" then
  3. My political views here apparently, despite being among the left majority
  4. So if we encounter Sectoids on an exoplanet, then that technically makes us the aliens. Also, NASA officially hinting at a lunar colony in as soon as five years
  5. YTMND circa April 2006 had some great Bill Cosby memes. RIP Grumpcat
  6. 2019 is transpiring to be the year my passion for gaming might be dwindling. Today is the first time my PC did not meet the minimum requirements for a new release. And the AAA sector of the industry is showing signs of disarray and potential collapse, especially with big names like EA, Activision, Blizzard, Epic, Bethesda, etc. Also, the lot of the gamer community are self-entitled assholes, not to mention tend to affiliate with the alt-right. There's probably a psychological parallel between game addiction and drug addiction. Regardless, for me it feels like it's fading. That's not to say I'm just gonna suddenly decide to quit games forever out of the blue one day. But at the same time I just can't play a game for more than 2 hours in a day anymore. As opposed to late 2008 thru 2011 when open-world games were really taking off - I'd be up playing them for several hours straight until like 3 AM on some days.
  7. I used Discord briefly about a month ago and then left the server for that very reason. I don't care what comes of CHATMM either way honestly. The only time I'm on there is immediately following a new Ae release or during one of their radio broadcasts.
  8. I'm kinda mixed on the abortion issue TBH. On one hand, I think it's justified if the conception was from intercourse that a woman never consented to in the first place...but not if she consented to said intercourse. But at the same time, I don't think old bible-thumping white men in suits should have authority in the woman's decision, just because they believe "God says it's bad mmkay"
  9. Nice. Any game that traverses the System Shock vein is an automatic grab for me. Also like the unique Futurama-style graphics.
  10. Yeah I thought about that. In an alternate history scenario, I figured it would just be a matter of fleeing across the border. Not like they had satellites and facial recognition technology back then. Easier said than done though, obv
  11. The same good ol' God-fearing folks who claim to be pro-life also have no qualms about dropping bombs all over the Middle East, or separating children of migrant families from their parents and putting them in cages. Maybe the Confederacy should've been allowed to secede after all during the Civil War, so we wouldn't have to share a country with them.
  12. Don't get me wrong - as an opening track to their debut LP it's a masterpiece. I'm just not sure its tone properly matches the darkness of the film Pi as well as some of the other trax Ae have done in their first four years following Incunabula. Then again it's been a very long time since I've watched it, and maybe Roo's right about it fitting that particular scene.
  13. Rage 2 won't launch for me on Steam. Already have the latest NVIDIA driver, already verified game cache integrity, already meet the minimum required specs, etc. But other Steam users are experiencing the same issue apparently. Hope Bethz/idSoft patch this shit soon. #gamefwp
  14. So far I think the only film to include Ae in its soundtrack is Pi (1997). They went with Kalpol Introl, of all trax.
  15. Creampie Hard Sperminator Robo Cock Top Cum Spank Girl Smear and Throating in Las Vagene Indiana Bones: Raiders of the Lost Arse (sorry if too raunchy)
  16. I think I finally fixed the issue with the Esc, 1, Q, A, & Z keys being mostly unresponsive on my laptop. But I had to go into the BIOS and update it to do so. I hope I fixed it anyway. I hope. UPDATE: External keyboard acquired. Installed. Test successful. Even after spending about half an hour removing the bottom cover, blasting the dust out with compressed gas, and screwing it back on, that still didn't get the farthest left keys working. But now that the new USB keyboard works beautifully, it matters not.
  17. Blood: Fresh Supply (the Nightdive remaster) is kicking my ass, but for being originally released in 1997, it's aged quite well. It's one of those games where you die in seconds if you get brazen. Tread lightly, play smart, be persistent. That seems to be the winning strategy.
  18. 2019 seems rather soon for a new release given the circumstances. 2020 is more likely, but you never know. Who knows what they come up with. I've found it futile to predict how their roadmap will unfold, because based on experience there's really no accurate way to do so. Besides, they never cease to impress either way.
  19. It occurred to me recently that Leonardo DiCaprio circa Romeo and Juliet was the most likely inspiration for Leon Kennedy in the RE/Biohazard games.
