I was at that show too, at Webster Hall. One of the best shows of my life, I don't think there is a recording though, at least not one in decent sound quality.

Yah...i also think that Oversteps is just not challenging enough. Challenging level that would be optimal:) I cheated, I don't think I ever would have figured this out on my own. I was trying to solve it like a Rubik's cube but no dice.

Yeah, news to me. Incidentally, Inhake 2 is on Peel Sessions and there is an Inhake 3.. Mix up? Yeah, there is an Inhake 3 on a comp, in addition to Inhake 2 on Peel sessions. No Drane 3 to the best of my knowledge.

Did you listen to it Joyrex? Lots of melodies on this one, I think out of all of their post Confield material you would like this one the best.

Ok, so a rainforest with lasers, lol. Two things I happened to be obsessed with as a kid. This is the soundtrack to a Logan's Run remake directed by David Lynch.

I can totally see the rainforest imagery too on a few tracks. I dunno, most of the sounds remind me of lasers and glass prisms, haha. Autechre's Dark Side of the Moon? What did you think of the actual album?

I think it's boring alone and boring AND a horrible fit for the music when paired with the actual album.

Whoever said that the Just A Souvenir cover was a good fit for this was spot on. I am thinking of Tron lightcycles when I listen to this album.

I thought this was real but I'm very happy it's been confirmed. This is the first Autechre in a long time I haven't had to convince myself to like when it first came out. Draft, Untilted, and Quaristice had their moments but I love the move ae made with this one, it's a gorgeous sounding album right off the bat and I'm sure it will get even better as I become more familiar with the melodies. Oversteps ftw!

This seems really silly, I think people that are expecting ae to release two albums, one fake and one real, are fooling themselves. Pretty sure this is gonna be the album.

Just listened to the original Tron soundtrack recently, this album kinda sounds like if Autechre rescored Tron. Yes!
