So much warmer and richer than Ufabulum, don't you think? I mean I loved Ufabulum, but this is next-gen in terms of sound. All these textures that come alive...

I heard Squarepusher is intensely studying Syro these days to see how he could catch up with his idol. "Damn, he had me again. Now everyone will know that Ufabulum was influenced by all the tracks he's been sending me these last 8 years. And he said publicly that I got the robot idea from him and that my version of it sucks. I should release my electro-mechanical tracks before he does or else people may start taking notice. He told them about that too? I'm fucked."

You're right, there's no in your face darkness in this album. Man in his forties, millionaire, living with his wife and children, easy-going life. I guess it's his happy album.

This goes well beyond The Tuss, don't you think? Well beyond Analord as well and sounds so much smoother than Drukqs. Ooooh ok guys thanks for the tip I was slow on this one hehe.

Any example? I find all the percussions a nice addition to his sound. Some of it is like his most "earthly" material. :)

Now to the real question: what is your setup? What do you listen to this album with? This determines a huge portion of what you wrote.

Why is no interviewer asking Richard: 1. How important is mastering to you and what is your definition of a good mastering? 2. What's your take on the loudness war? 3. People have accused your new "sound" of clipping: what do you think? It would probably shut up a couple of people on here hehe.
