  1. This tournament it's slowly, palpably, evolving into borderline hysteria though. Since the Germany game. Foul. Even Bristol, which exists under a permahaze of weed, is fevered. Very regrettable. Hopefully, all shall be shit & grey again in a few months. And none of those degenerate Mancini jackets either. (good to see GL Vialli healthy & well)
  2. They were too busy enabling Ted Heath in Jersey
  3. We were shit, leggy & met a team who were anything but. At least Bale had the dignity to walk away when asked in interview about his future. Would love to bet against Inglan, but can’t call the German game, too close. Portuguese & Belgians win highest rate of shithousing in a game so far.
  4. Flying military synths
  5. To the Danish massive, good luck today, hope it’s a belter
  6. Pendine all the way https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pendine_Sands Partrishow church, with well for offerings (not Wicker Man), as chilled as it gets https://thejournalofantiquities.com/2012/06/24/partrishow-church-forest-coal-pit-powys/ https://naturalresources.wales/days-out/places-to-visit/south-east-wales/coed-y-cerrig/?lang=en And remember, Obama chose Newport

  8. Over the bridge, but you have access to: https://theshedbarry.co.uk/ book early, outstanding got wheels? try these, all within 45-60 minutes https://www.blackmountains.wales/ https://www.breconbeacons.org/things-to-do/attractions/natural/hills-mountains https://www.alltrails.com/trail/wales/powys/hay-bluff-and-offas-dyke https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-to-visit/llanthony-priory http://www.eatdrinksleep.ltd.uk/ https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g1808440-d305246-Reviews-The_Felin_Fach_Griffin-Felin_Fach_Powys_Wales.html https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/brecon-beacons/trails/pen-y-fan-and-corn-du-circular-walk https://www.wyevalleyaonb.org.uk/ https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-to-visit/tintern-abbey https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g3383521-d4312974-Reviews-Ogmore_By_Sea_Beach-Ogmore_by_Sea_Vale_of_Glamorgan_South_Wales_Wales.html https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/days-out/regionwales/gower https://cadw.gov.wales/visit/places-to-visit/parc-le-breos-burial-chamber https://www.gowerseafoodhut.co.uk/

  10. Best thing about cars are crashes (I should know). Here, Richard Hammond’s fear is tangible in the build up. You know he’s going to lose control, it’s when not if (the rest of the vid is unnecessary Clarkson poncing filler) One day he’ll die in a quality fireball.
  11. Expected more from Turkey, thought we’d concede a late goal, then when the 2nd Wales goal went in this entire street erupted. Think we’d give anyone a proper game currently. Lastly:
  12. Buzzing. Groups have obvious winners, or even skill-sets & long shots. No idea who’ll win, anyone except Inglan polemic defined in 1 jpg would have to be:
  13. There’s a well organised annual event called the 3 Peaks Challenge. You can do England, Wales & Scotland, or variations of all 3. C19 has put a dent in logistics, but they all offer extensive exploration https://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/ Croagh Patrick in Eire is tremendous, get a clear day & the views are wild https://www.croagh-patrick.com/visitorcentre/holy-mountain
  14. Roger Penrose pimps his. Rhos Dirion & Twmpa are among the main peaks of the Black Mountains, the eastern escarpment of the Brecon Beacons Nat Park. A network of rivers line the valley floors & hardly anyone goes there. A few farms, collies running down lanes. Bliss & only 45mins from Bristol, 90mins if you take the Wye/Tintern Abbey route:
  15. Chris Bonnington did a talk at our school once. He told stories using an OHP about respecting mountains and the feats of Reinhold Messner. As a kid, you don’t really take it all in. The Fan-Dance is the local workout bar none if you start from the valley floor, nowhere near as high as elsewhere, but it took out 3 SAS trainees on a summer day. Which leads to the flip side of mountain exploring (grim reads warning), their inherent dangers: https://mpora.com/mountaineering-expeditions/the-gruesome-truth-about-the-climbers-who-die-on-mount-everest/ https://www.gq.com/story/mount-everest-chaos-at-the-top-of-the-world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_Boots https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hannelore_Schmatz
