=DnineFly has become my favorite NTS track, and overall, one of my favorite AE tracks ever. Not only is it my favorite NTS track, but it's totally opened up Oversteps in a new way for me as well. Every time I listen to it, I wind up going back and listening to the last half of OS, and this feeling of continuity washes over me, and just makes me appreciate 8 of these tracks even more. <shrug> I know there's got to be tracks all throughout these sessions that do the same for others... Buuuut... That's... That's my butt. And I now have a strange obsession with my butt. =P *** Fuck... I need to stop drinking.

Yeah.When I was in high school, everyone said it was the greatest 'love song' ever... I was more into Tool's Stinkfist... But whatever. I still don't see the connection to fLh. Told you... I'm dense like that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That kick-snare design. Not that it's the most original thing ever but it's just very similar sound-wise, especially the snare. I got it now... And now I can't not hear it... Grrrrr....

You just eaten my last ounce of Wurst, Spiral. I am not saying that in a gay kind of way. Seriously, fLh, really? What's attractive in that track? Anything? 5 Ae fans like it. The other 90 Billion don't. fLh is sick. One of my favorites of the entire sessions. Pure funky ae hip hop. ^^ This... It is... It's so funky and so... Smile inducing... It's one of my favorite NTS tracks. I love it... Though, I don't really get the 'Closer' referencing that's been going on... Maybe I'm just dense like that... Я не знаю... <shrug>

I want an hour long extended version of the last 12 seconds of sinistrail. Y'all know which 12 seconds I mean I do - totally...I thought the song was going to keep going and dive into more of the same, but it didn't. It faded out, and left me sitting there with this look on my face like... Wtf, where's the continuation of this awesome atmosphere... Sinistrail is about 15 minutes too short...

Three albums have totally opened up for me since the NTS Sessions were released:;: EP7, Quaristice and Oversteps. I've been listening to the last half of Oversteps over and over again for the last 36 hours or so, and I just... Can not get enough of it. Fuck!!! Autechre just keeps getting better and better as the years go by... =D -
Untilted took a while to click for me. A mate has it on vinyl, listened to it loud and high round his once and it finally did. You know how it is with autechre, sometimes it just takes time (sometimes years) and the right situation. Dunno about the effect of listening to vinyl. I preferred Untilted on vinyl but may have been other environmental factors. I'm conflicted about vinyl ha. Isn't the vinyl edition of Untilted mastered quite differently? I could be mistaken, but I think I remember reading that somewhere...

Yeah, but... That doesn't really add anything to this thread... Most of us want to profess our undying love for AE... But this is a crunch time thread. And I had no buisness posting what I did here. It added nothing to the conversation. I apologize for the slight derailment of this awesome thread... It's great seeing what albums you all hold up as the 'top of the top'.

Sorry. No offense meant. But every album is... Mind-blowingly amazing. Seriously... Whatever album I'm listen to by AE becomes my favorite... I'll listen to it for a few days, non-stop, and it'll move up on my favorites list. That is... Until I throw another one of their albums on... In which case, that becomes one of my favorites... And I won't be able to stop listening to it over and over and over... The cycle repeats... I can't say one album is better than any others because-seriously-whatever AE album is coming through my speakers at any given moment winds up bein my 'favorite' album for the next few days. Right now it's the Dublin set from AE_Live. A few days ago, it was Confield... Before that, it was EP7... Before that... Whatever NTS Sessions session I was listening to would completely blow my mind out of the water and I'd question if it was the best thing Ronny and Sasha had ever done. <shrug> Saying one is better than any other just makes me feel dirty. =X .... To summarize... AE=good... A total understatement. AE is the one musical act I would choose to listen to, non-stop, if I had to only choose one musical act to listen to for the rest of my life... And I would enjoy and feel honored to hear every single second of it. ... I've come to the conclusion that I'm just an obsessed fanboy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Whatchoogonnado? <(シ. .)シ the Autechre, and keep them close... NEVER let them go>

Oo Aaaaaaaaaanyway... =P tt1pd is most definitely a highlight that's shining bright in an entire 8 hours of highlights that shine bright. But it is one of a handful of tracks that I think wouldn't loose anything if released as a stand alone single, while most of the other tracks seem to (again, IMO) work better when left within the context of everything around them. If that makes any sense.... Maybe I'm just talking out of my ass. =X It happens quite often.
