  1. Thanks! It's on Mixcloud now but I don't think has downloads available. Wanted to throw it on Percussion Lab but I think the site has more or less been left for dead as whole sections of it aren't working. I could always put it on Mediafire or a hosting site other than Soundcloud if anyone has a good one. https://www.mixcloud.com/sparklemotion/ yep, downloads unavailable. Also, Mixcloud messes with the audio (data compression as well as dynamics compression). I'd suggest something like Google Drive, but if a link gets hit too much they take it down. Might be worth a try. If it comes to it, I'll just rip the audio from vimeo :D So glad you're getting recognition for this stuff, it's always awesome
  2. Fucking amazing. Just finished watching this. Will the audio mix be available too?
  3. If by digging deep you mean scrolling down on page 1 of this thread then yes, i dug deep.Yep, that's what I meant. 5 year old vintage pics
  4. So jealous I can't be at the screening, but I'm definitely ready for the online drop. Have a blast
  5. I think the framing here is great! Some from today's shoot:
  6. That night shot is awesome. Of course, I'd wanna turn it monochrome, because I'm hipster like that. Very nice!
  7. Lovely use of lens flare and great dynamic range too! I am so very jealous of this shot. I want to try and get sun beams like that. Some from today's shoot, that was cut short due to a bomb scare in Liverpool (I ain't sticking around for that)
  8. Uh, I think that's just a tank top? + boobs + shadow You must need a vagina to survive a xenomorph attack, the penises always die. Robots don't have a penis, hence they survive, usually. you forgot about Newt.
  9. very nice stuff there! What is it you're not liking about the XF27mm? Some o mine I've come around to the XF27mm more, my main complaint is it just feels a bit one dimensional sometimes. But of course it is going to be given what it is. In hindsight I would have got the XF35mm. Having said that the XF27mm makes the XT-10 pocket sized which is super convenient I would imagine having the XF27mm would make it around about the same size as the X100T, and honestly I do kind of miss the small size of that camera. I was able to put that in my laptop bag, whereas now my camera setup needs it's own shoulder bag. If I were forced to choose between my XF23mm and XF35mm I would choose the 23. But the 35 is a really lovely lens. thanks mang!

  11. AAAAh that cracked and dried mud looks awesome, loads of texture and depth.
  12. Thanks man, I really appreciate that! Sounds like you're gonna have some stellar shots to show off yourself soon. Looking forward to see what you come up with
  13. what is it about the 27mm that you're not keen on? if you were after a prime lens, I'd have said to go for the XF35mm F2 WR, as it's not massively expensive, and it gives that classic 50mm street photography focal length
  14. A friend of a friend is getting married, and they just out-of-the-blue asked me last night to shoot it for them. It's gonna be a challenge for me though, as I haven't really taken many pictures of people. I must practice being obnoxiously cheery. (Please post some of your pics when you have some time and some stuff to post, btw!) I've been trying to get more portrait shots of people, but there's something kinda creepy about it, lol. I guess it all depends on context. Long exposures while dancers are warming up Yeah, I'm not exactly comfortable with sticking a camera in someone's face. These long exposures are awesome. I managed to get a cool looking one when I went to Sheffield last month, but it was totally unintentional. The ones you've posted are very nice indeed. Are you using an ND filter, or just a smaller aperture value? I want to get some ND filters so I can do long exposure stuff at aperture values lower than F4. Congrats! Thank you! I'm looking forward to the challenge.

  16. Soooo someone just requested my services as a photographer, and they're going to pay me for it too. I guess I can now call myself a professional photographer
  17. LOL Anyway, there are some insane names on that list. But I approve of all of them! Michael Cera playing the shut-in guy with the orchids
