in boc mix as well, the second half of this track turns into a weird remix / edit, which unless i'm missing something i'm guessing is a BOC edit. although it might just be an uncredited other song entirely .. the NTS provided tracklist has a lot of gaps and missing tracks, come think of it ..

if you listen to the mix then there's no question. this mix sounds like a modern Few Old Tunes style mixtape, with a heavier emphasis on other peoples music/edits/mixes over original music. but they still sneak some in ..

had a wee quick listen. i would suggest boc's contributions extends to more than just the 20 minutes here. you'd be better off just finding the time to listen to the 2 hour tape imo.

this mix rules. very BOC-y even in the not BOC tracks. like when you listen to an aphex twin mix and every second track is ??? is this AFX ??? but it turns out to be someone else. half these tracks sound like BOC anyway, through their curation. it's a rad listen.

the 2 mixes being a clean 1 hour each is most telling that it was done by autechre. that's them using their NTS magic secret sauce.

i think incunabula was curated and arranged by warp but amber/tri onward the band had more direct involvement in the tracks/arrangements. one thing i've wondered is... is there a possibility these mixes were not done by autechre? i can half imagine them being handled by hanal or vlari or someone from that kind of gescom-adjacent crew. but the lack of clarification infers that it was autechre themselves.

i think the mix was an inspired choice. i can imagine listening to the standalone tracks being a bit more of a chore to get thru
