i'm surprised the designs are as good as they are. i was half wondering if it was a modern/recent mockup job. very keen to hear this. love the Lego Feet 4 part 2xLP release. that old shit absolutely slays.

? very funny feigned cuntiness and homophobic slurs.
  4. is this a serious question? the new movies aren't even movies but merely products created to generate revenue. there was zero original ideas or inspiration put into the new movies, beyond the scope of "does it fit within what star wars fans expect a star wars movie to be". the original movies were made to be original and excite movie goers. the new movies is to give people what they expect. of course the originals are better. anyone who says otherwise has lost perspective on reality.

  6. this thing has had troubled progress since it was announced. there was incidents of them showing it off at trade shows, and the thing was essentially an empty casing with PC running emulator insides or something really bizarre. and the press person was asking questions and the people were really deflective and unable to give any concrete details to any of the questions. and then when the video was being shared around, the atari people were issueing take downs and started spreading bullshit garbage talk on the internet calling the press liars and just going off on weird tangents. cbf looking it up but the vibe of this project from the start has been really stinky and mismanaged and bad looking. as far as i can tell, atari is atm just a name that gets sold and bought around.. and has nothing to do with 'atari' atari. just people releasing an ouya piece of crap with the atari branding.
  7. PC Engine rom music player with music from Castlevania.. only it sounds super broken for some reason
  8. i would love to have the un-compressed version released alongside the compressed/recommended to listen to versions, just because i'm a nerd like that ? i only have access to the machinedrum at home. playing with the autechre MD patches, the volumes on the kicks and bass levels definitely seemed "wrong" and out of control at first. maybe it's something that needs to be mixed down.. or maybe it's just meant to be incredibly loud and makes sense when being blasted REALLY LOUDLY on big venue level speakers. in which case, it'd be fun having access to those original out of control volume versions of this project. it would be my preference, any way. so having both released would be very appreciated !!!
  9. Sony and Microsoft xbox also coming out with game streaming options, alongside Google Stadia, is something i had completely not even taken consideration earlier. maybe google stadia *IS* dead on arrival. MAYBE.
  10. there is a lyric in the Radiohead song There There that goes "just because you don't like Analord, it doesn't mean it's bad".
  11. dead on arrival = implies there's no capacity for it to grow and win market over. it's a brand new, unproven concept. saying it has no back catalogue of games is moot point if, in a year or two's time.. the library fills out as more people hop on board. comparing the price point of console to google stradia, are you implying that google stradia is "dead on arrival" compared to consoles, because it's a cheaper and more affordable option compared to consoles? that connection makes no sense to me. that seems more like an argument for why people will happily opt into trying google stradia = because it's cheaper. in 4 years time, people won't need to upgrade consoles. the iterative nature of PS4 > PS4 Pro > PS5, in tandem with XBOX one > XBOX one S > XBOX one X > next generation XBOX ... is only going to get more and more tiresome for consumers as time goes on. having a subscription platform that gives you access to the latest generation graphics.. without needing to upgrade your outdated "last gen" piece of plastic box... at a price entry point that's CHEAPER than buying a console? honestly.. who fucking knows. i'm still keeping my eye on it cos i think if it does work well and isn't totally a bugged out shitty experience for people, this has the chance to win a lot of people over and make interesting shifts to what's happening around how people buy technology and games. >> potentially << !!!
  12. here’s article from last year beta where people were testing it at home/away from google controlled environment https://www.polygon.com/2018/10/8/17953130/project-stream-game-streaming-assassins-creed-odyssey a lot of people from those betas were weirdly enough saying it works totally fine and input lag/delays were never really an issue.. maybe certain types of games are not going to be fine, but it seems *POSSIBLE* that google *might* be delivering something that is totally in line with your average joe schmuck consumer gamer who doesn’t give a shit about differences in milliseconds differences in latency, and the convenience of having a platform where the games have ZERO downloads/updates + sick graphics + library to latest AAA sick looking games... this platform has the potential to win a lot of people over ... if it works as intended. and the beta had people coming out of it saying it works as intended. bit early to be saying it’s dead on arrival imo ....
  13. i looked at videos of that Switch version and for whatever reason, the work they did to the game just makes it look real disorientating and makes me feel sick.
  14. i first got a dixie 2 then got an STO, and between the two i def prefer the STO. that triangle looking out with the pulsewidth modulation is just real nice and buzzy, but still pretty basic and simple. when you feed it into filters you just get nicer sounding things coming out of it i found.. compared to the dixie. maybe my dixie set to 'boring' or something on the dip switch ???
  15. i have a strict no new gear purchases atm. but then SOMEONE told me about a eurorack module that can house the original SID chips and use it as a sound source, and i had a broken commodore 64 in cupboard with working SID chip... so it would've been stupid to NOT buy the eurorack module that can use the original SID chip as a sound source. so technically, i'm still not purchasing new gear atm.
