Yeah, tbh I've already kind of warmed up to that 2x2 track, especially in context with listening to ODS. CHEETAH7 turned out absolutely lush. Love it. This in combination with the samples finally got me hyped a bit again for those other tracks... Kind of a 180 from earlier, but there you go.

Meh. Doesn't do anything for me. Forgettable. So now we've heard more than half of the EP already (three long tracks)? Now it's needlessly waiting for just two actual new tracks and two small interludes... Warp should've just dropped it all at once imo, never been so underwhelmed by an AFX release before.

Just got the 3LP in and am loving it. Beautiful package but more importantly, great track selection from Serge :) missing some faves but at least now I'm getting to appreciate these ones more. I've also 'won' the Contact SD card and the Allantide CD through the bidding, very pleased -

I thought maybe that the kid had shot everything but that Warp got someone to edit it together, but it seems he's done the entire thing from start to finish. Nice job kid! Aaahw, and he even got to listen to the EP and choose the track for a video himself with no pressure. Top fucking notch Warp / Aphex, really a great move :) I've been listening/watching to it a lot yesterday and I'm digging the track more and more. At first I was a bit underwhelmed but then I played a couple of 1994-ish remixes from Aphex and Autechre and listened to CIRKLON3 with those ears, which made a lot more sense IMO.

CHEETA1b ms800 = I think they skipped this sample because it's already under 30 seconds 4. CHEETA2 ms800 = REALLY lush warm soundscape intermezzo thingy, can already say it's too short (felt like Coil's Time Machines to me) 5. CIRKLON3 [ mix ] = u know 6. CIRKLON 1 = If this wasn't an Analord (08?) outtake then call me a beer and pull me open. Fucking love this one. 7. 2X202-ST5 = more Analord-y with a very deep bass similar to CHEETAH7's bass, more uptempo breakbeat-ish

New? Welp, I haven't heard it either so it's pretty new to me too haha - I really enjoyed it! Definitely sounded like an outtake from Syro which is always a good thing - love that chiming melody about a minute in, very lush. True, kind of wish he didn't put it on his soundcloud a year ago already. To put it on a new EP AND make it the single feels a bit underwhelming for me tbh (and I know I'm just acting like spoilt brat now :)) Really hope they'll release this video with the minipops kid though, that's really awesome :)

Maybe that's because his good friend Giorgio (who also has EXCELLENT buyer ratings... https://www.discogs.com/sell/buyer_feedback/Giorgio55 ) is copping all those fake entries so they can one-up each other on feedback cocksuckery to ramp up the positive rating %.

Ugh, I think I overdosed on burgers since that one big one a few pages back. I've had 3 of those in three weeks and had some other similar fancy big burgers too that same month... My burger lust has been completely tempered. I tried looking at this thread but it didn't work. Am I still normal?

I've always liked AFX on tape and got a small collection of them, and it's also not everyday you get to hear his tracks from cassette. Like I said earlier in the thread, different formats for different moods, purposes & locations. It's perfect for people who complain about his new tracks being too polished and clean too. Also OMG LIMITED EDITION!1 P.S. Digging the samples, glad I pre-ordered :)
