  1. I'm pretty sure you can still vote, but the tracks don't work because he's hidden all the tracks on soundcloud. Not sure if the voting will have any effect though, see xf's posts on the previous page :) (he's behind the voting site). Also, welcome!
  2. Someone fucked up the spreadsheet about all the tracks on here, and there's some tab called 'Sheet25' that just says "Stop Illegally giving out songs". https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11ouNaaVrNp60Ib34Kp0TO1n1XSc7-9DvfiZ9ZiTiD2c/htmlview?usp=sharing&sle=true# Did anyone manage to make a back up? There was a lot of great info on there...
  3. Really loving it, thanks! Missed it too :)
  4. Had a second listen to 16 last week and it HIT me, still top notch and really consistent. There's still more than enough great vibes and melodies and colundi moments going on. Really hard to say which are my faves, I'd rather pick a few tracks from every level. All the albums have something unique and different from the other (the first are very minimal and fundamental, 14 is very fast and dancefloor approved, 10/11 are more loose, etc.), and within those boundaries there's a couple of tracks that really appeal to me and some that just extent on that vibe which is great. I think the trick to this series is that there's a new album dropping before you even start to get tired of the previous one :)
  5. Great stuff on this page :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT1tgUkMmRw
  6. Which app is that? https://www.discogs.com/app
  7. The new hyped up app for Discogs is only for iP(a)(o)(d)hones
  8. Ugh, had to miss it... Heard the Dgohn set was great, hope to hear it soon :)
  9. Thanks for th555 playing this yesterday, amazing recording
  10. Just a nice little rarity, I'm guessing this compilation is from the early 00's (listening to Legowelts sound). Sharing this because it has never and will never become available, and I-F shared it publically on facebook too. https://archive.org/details/Va-Pong This project was realised mostly for fun and promotion of pong, the one and only computergame. The release is not for sale, only shared amongst real friends. The recording was created for the Pong/Eetbaar event, which took place in de Garage at the Zuidwal in The Hague. People could play pong and decide who would deejay and by buying beer from team A, B or C they could decide who went on to cook the meal. https://www.discogs.com/Various-Pong/release/1704873 It has at least two tracks that feature Legowelt although there's bound to be an unknown alias in there that's him too?
  11. Pretty sure that is by Chris Moss Acid. When you google those track names, the name Brad Striker pops up (obvious pun on Bradley Strider). http://alchetron.com/Chris-Moss-Acid-270101-W Also known as DJ jo quaid 5, brad striker, dj bournemouth chopper, captain acid 303
  12. Haha, nice! This Sleeping Gods EP from 2011 was the last thing I liked of theirs because, like you said, the production isn't so ridiculously clean, loud and boring. It's quite diverse for them: the wicked synth track in the middle helps too. Actually, the last track could be on Monumension (which you should totally get ASAP!) Point in case:
  13. Oh man, I was such a huge fan of this album / band in the day too! I devoured all their records up until Ruun and then just stopped caring basically. Once in a while I'll play their 'weirder' stuff again, Monumension and Mardraum. Pretty sure I'll never get tired of those, but hearing this again is taking me back :) Trivia about the Lindisfarne track you might already know but at the time this was one of the biggest mysteries for us: What does the guy mumbleshouts right before the track starts (@3:35)". Luckily we met Grutle and Ivar a few times and right after he told a story - that involved Grutle and Schmier of Destruction, crawling through someones garden with masks of Hitler and Stalin - he revealed the big secret. Bonus feat: Last year, a mate of mine was thrown out of the bar that Grutle works at as a bouncer. He is quite proud of it.
  14. Whoaaa! Downloading 6.6 GB now (description says it's 7.08 GB though?)
  15. That's my understanding, yes. Probably both Warp and AFX as he posts descriptions and comments with that account too. The last track had "recorded to nagra iv-s on 5" tape.", don't think that's Warp's doing. + What Ivan said.
  16. This interview is like 5 years old or something, it was always unavailable for us Dutchies because Vice only allowed it for UK (and US?) people I think. Glad to finally have it on YouTube, great video :) Another short interview here: https://youtu.be/JddmRAUXeq0?t=1m4s
  17. http://www.factmag.com/2016/02/09/aphex-twin-early-interview-20-year-old/
  18. YES!!! Glad to hear that track again Hope this'll be available on other formats too, otherwise I guess I'll have to take the 2x12" :)
  19. Unique Leader mostly reminds me of a particular era when I hung around those guys from Brutus, which is still my fave album from UL, and one of my alltime fave metal albums. https://youtu.be/vRq9x7_6yYA?list=PL7BD9BD8C8C2175A0 Suprisingly, their new album came out last month without much press. That took more than 10 years because of a lot of shitty reasons, but I remember back in 2008 the guitarist mentioning that it just needed some bass parts and extra vocals... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NX80hGFNg8 Besides that it's mostly the stuff psn and Ivan already mentioned. Also was really into this Deeds of Flesh album, which isn't on UL though: RE: Ildjarn / Striborg, never really got into both but that documentary on Xasthur / Striborg / Leviathan didn't help to take Striborg serious. Best thing about Ildjarn for me was him tipping Biosphere in an interview over a decade ago, although I'm quite enjoying both Ildjarn and Striborg links that you both posted now.
