Oh right, this "crazy Japanese lady who buried herself with her Aphex Twin collection" was one of those rumours from back in the late 90's that cemented the whole Aphex myth cult. Kind of a sad story to be honest, but thanks for the write-up!

Is it possible if you posted the reason why they're not out already (if you get to learn it ofc)? I'm quite curious because I can't think of any. It's been posted on watmm multiple times. Basically the lore is that Grant got about 100 (I think?) white labels of that acid 12" pressed but Tom never wanted to put them out so it never happened. Cylob most likely has a copy because he played two tracks of it on some mix he did in 2003 (there's a soundboard recording of that here - the tracks are played right after each other, starting around 27 minutes - rest of the tracklist here ).

Top move Todd, thanks for clarifying, I think the initial write-up of 'store-only, no digital, no online' left a bad taste in peoples mouth (myself included). I'm mostly relieved the exclusivity isn't done on purpose because that would just be a shame and a waste of (most likely) good tunes. Hope I get a shot at supporting this ;)

Bought the Winter In Polarius repress last week, been waiting for that one for ages! One of my fave Legowelt records :) also got two of those Nightwind Gazettes magazines with it! It's time for another Nightwind tape release imo. Listening to that new mix now, very lush & regenerating.

Irrelevant spoopy tidbit: was listening to some Coil last night when I read Balance passed away exactly 12 years ago. Ended up with this track at one point and while reading the title I realized it was also exactly a year since the attacks in Paris.

Really need to check those both, that new Urfaust album is really promising from what I've heard. I'm finally trawling through Aluk Todolo's discography today, saw them live years ago when they were opening for Sunn. Turns out their studio work is equally good. Did people get this sensitive during certain Game of Thrones episodes too? First thing that came to my mind when watching the last show was that they were trying to either get on par or top GoT, but that's just based on the massive gushing the GoT fanbois did after certain episodes (never bothered to watch it myself). -

How come i missed that gazette ..??? where did you get that ? how about that info the tape factory...? are you in the secret exclusive loop? Was just posted on legowelt.org, also he just dubs all tapes himself at home (think he explained that once in an interview), and he hasn't released a tape in a few months now. Saw him live last weekend again, was pretty fucking good. Didn't recognize much tracks, most was done live I believe.

theres a lot of slow pacing to the show, which i actually like rather then being an action film the whole way through, but yeah s7 just started, would watch it soon before spoilers which are all over the web now True, literal braindead entertainment. I'm not really concerned with spoilers with this show though, but yeah I'll probably watch it tonight! :)
