  1. ugh, not reading that

Just noticed the great jazz brushwork on frane casual.  Track is boss AF

that trombone solo on peal MA...

    perfect.gif

    what trombone solo?

...i intrigued by that nervous melody, just suggested, starting at 6:00, and then appearing and disappearing for just over three minutes. But i don't find the trombone...

dunno bout no trombones but my post was cerious b... the riddim on frane casual really sounds like this (ffwd to 2:55)

  2. Well, i guess i must be the usual diehard Autechre fan (since the release of LP5) but i'm trully impressed by this NTS collection. I did not see it coming.

Same here. Just listened to LP5 the other day (u know, as a break from the sessions) and goddammn I love that album to bits. Imho it remains the best the 'chre have ever done in channeling the raw feels through their sound. Unbelievable that it turns 20 later this year and itll probably go unnoticed *cough boc cough*

  3.

Just noticed how [g 1 e 1] sounds like it was hewn from those plonky acoustic strum sections at the end of AE_LIVE sets. Could be wronk though, the whole thing has been so disorienting so far (and I effing love it)

I'm driving from RI to NJ tomorrow and gonna try rolling straight through Jeff NTS Sessions 1 and 2, pee breaks in CT notwithstanding. I bet this could be more effectively expressed through meme, but following the comedown of 32a_reflected, when elec9 7hres comes on it feels like snorting an 8ball straight back onto the Aeoverload.bingemode.express all over again.

    where in NJ?

and yea, the transition for session 1 to 2 is fantastic.

Going to Paramus/Ridgewood area for a friend's surprise birthday... just realized it's less than 4 hrs away so I might have to get lost on purpose or go looking for the had to-do-it-to-em kid (whoms'tve I've always just assumed is from NJ).  How's it on 4/20 in the garden state?

    fLh fucking hell

    key nell indeed.

Dis whole thing is doing me head in, plus those 94-95 Oscillate sets  :wtf:

  5. i hate the vocals. all of them. the hipster rap verse, beirut, swamp dog, the other unbearable twee "folk" singers.

That was what I was afraid of. National turd involvement means I won't touch this.

Yeah thanks for confirming what I suspected goys. <3 <3 <3 MOM but that 21 Forever compilation was a total phone-in, a few good tracks here 'n there but not enough to make up for all the knob-slobbing nonsense like "we're a hawk and a hacksaw," Mark Smith calling them cunts, chiptune happy birthday, etc.  At first I was excited at the prospect of a new album but when the details began to emerge I was like wtf, this is the same shitty formula dudes, c'mon.

At least the recent-ish Synaptics EP was p dece

    YOURE A VERY SENSITIVE PERSON

  6. I still remember that stupid video Pai made right before the FCC vote last December, where he donned the Santa hat, spun the fidget spinner, and played the Harlem Shake (which was a meme from February 2013). Basically one big "fuck you" to the vast majority of us who wanted to retain Net Neutrality.

Ha that was a giant middle finger alright. I also remember one of the stooges doing the harlem shake was quite fit, next day I read she's some sort of alt-rite BLM-is-a-terrorist-groop blooger or summat.  Confused my wang for hours.  Anyway sleep better knowing DICKHEAD gonna need 24-hr personal security for the rest of his life, and even that doesn't guarantee he wont end up with a cap in his ass.

My naive optimism still believes that this administration will get a huge bite in the ass from karma one day. Maybe it's just a gut feeling.

Every day one of these assholes shoots themselves in the foot (and there have been a lot lately) is cause for optimism

  7. By ranked I think he means when u display subforum threads by no. of posts (it's on that lil blu bar at the top of the subforum page above pinned posts that you almost forget is there)

four of seven > 32a_refrected :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: #1isaPrettyDopeSessionTim

  8. I like that Santana album Supernatural. That "Smooth" song was played on the radio approximately 10 billion times. Because it's a fucking good song. Its the golden standard of radio music, along with those two Fastball songs that were popular at the same time.

    Indeed!

I love that they continue to keep this joke running

Here's my retro cheese at the moment, such a wonderfully crafted pop song. MillionXbetter than Love Shack imnsho
