  1. Cool. I was super disappointed in the Michael Shannon film about the Iceman so I'll give this one a shot.
  2. Watching Freddy vs Jason now... ..... . .. .... . ........ .. ... . This movie is HILARIOUS!!!
  3. You're forgetting Starships Troopers. Never forget Starships Troopers. It's about a woman who gets raped. lol edit - it actually sounds p innerestin' though It is!
  4. Elle I don't know how to feel about this movie? I liked it, but it was also very... French... in that absurd way where you don't really understand the main character's actions. Or maybe you do but you don't want to know that you understand why she does the things she does. Anyhoo, the first half of it reminded me of Caché, but then it spiraled out of control and became fairly humoristic again in an absurd way only to return back to its previous form. I think I might have to watch it again to make up my mind about it. I don't know/10
  5. Biked home (5 miles or something) with 4 pounds of coffee beans and half a gallon of distilled water in my bag... now I'm tired and want pitsa.
  6. Yeah that dude is up there on the autism spectrum. Hahahahaha! I have no idea who he is but I love his walk!
  7. Just read a snippet of the 60 minute interview that'll be shown tonight..... fuck...
  8. Charlie fucking KaufmanLove that dude so much Prolly in my top 5 artists of all time from any medium I could give some psychoanalytic thoughts on it But I have no idea what the hell everyone was tripping on in the hallway Been waiting to watch it again but it's not on Netflix and my local video-rental place shut down so... I loved Anomalisa in the most depressing possible. There were parts of it that annoyed me but I don't even remember what it was now?Anyway, I think it was pretty straightforward interpretation-wise. It doesn't really require that big a psychological analysis... or am I missing something? Okay, so, what was the source of all the dude's suffering, then? Well, first of all, I don't think there's any reason to analyse this movie to death because it pretty much speaks for itself. It's about love and the dark sides of love just like every other Charlie Kaufman movie - you know, growing tired of the people you love and seeing them in a new light. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless is the obvious one. Adaptation is about being obsessive with the thing you love or trying to find that one thing you love. But what you're looking for is probably the Frigoli syndrome or whatever it's called.
  9. Can you fire a president or force him/her to leave?
