Well, their VR stuff should work on the PS4 and I like the fact that the headset is fairly cheap compared to the Vive and what have we. I bet it'll be a nice gateway into VR.

So rumor has it that Sony will announce the PS4.5 next month. Problem is I REALLY want to buy a PS4 now. God damnit.

So about airports... There are too many people there, waiting in line sucks, security is annoying and once you get through security you're greeted by a bunch of enormously boring stores and whoever you're in the airport with will at one point want to go see what the stores have to offer. And all airports are the same. You'll find the same restaurants, the same stores, the same coffee shops etc. Also, there are crying kids everywhere, angry parents who regret bringing their 4-year-old on vacation, and you've got frat boys who are leaving for Ibiza, Crete, Turkey, Costa del Sol and so on. Also, the climate in airports is always piss poor.

Watched Riget/The Kingdom a couple of weeks ago. Both seasons that is. Haven't watched it since I was a kid and it scared the living crap out of me back then. But wow, that show is hilarious! It's amazingly absurd. Right now I'm going watching The Bachelorette with my girlfriend. Luckily, she's only watching it because of how terrible it is but I am blown away at how insanely terrible it is. I'm in shock. This is fucking insane! Anyway... Back to reality...

Infinite's is just as good, if not, better. The world was so immersive; I could almost smell it. That first section of the game was quite the experience. Agreed! It's a lot more realized than Rapture which is saying a lot! Exactly. The fact that it's graphically superior probably helps a little, but I think a lot of it is down to the impeccable sound design. It really brought Columbia to life. Right! Also, I really love the unnatural fades between the interior and exterior environments. The crossfade is almost instant. When you enter a store or something like that all the outdoor ambience turns into dark windy drone. It sounds amazing.

Is it when it loops? Sometimes when you throw in an mp3 it will add it a space at the beginning and end so it won't loop at a zero crossing. It's all wav files. I've tried adding small fades, consolidating various cross faded versions. Nothing helps. Fortunately if I export a wav of the whole song it doesn't include the ticks (which I discovered after my initial post). But it makes the mixing process maddening as hell. Every time i hear that tick sound I go into a blind rage. It's quite counterproductive.Have you tried running the audio through a different sound card or maybe directly through the computer's mini jack out? My old M-Audio FireWire 410 crapped out on me about half a year ago. It started to make clicks when I would play files in Audition and whenever I hit "play"' it would stop playing whatever else was being played in other DAWs and then after a couple of seconds everything would start playing.
