  1. Nice! Congrats, man! My job has been grinding my gears for the past 3-4 months... so earlier this week I logged in to a job portal to see if I could find anything else and to my luck and I saw that the theater in my hometown was looking for a full-time sound designer. I've got my fingers crossed for an interview.
  2. Slightly NSFW... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSnThV26lEE
  3. Yeah, I'm really excited about his new movie. I really liked Prisoners and Enemy was intriguing even though I didn't understand what on Earth was going on.
  4. Johann Johannsson has composed the soundtrack for the last 2 films by Denis Villeneuve, the guy who's directing Blade Runner 2, so let's try that out... http://www.youtubedoubler.com/?video1=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D-uEuT9Jx7OI&start1=&video2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D-fu7jN2_2pE&start2=0&authorName=snoopsagan This kinda works.
  5. Mute the video to the right http://www.youtubedoubler.com/?video1=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DvWD7k6TrJ-g&start1=&video2=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D-fu7jN2_2pE&start2=0&authorName=snoopsagan EDIT: Man... that is one long ass intro.
  6. So Ryan Gosling is in talks to star in Blade Runner 2... holy shit, lol
  7. But the "open world" isn't interesting. At all. They overpromised and underdelivered. When they presented they game they showed the galaxy map and said, "You can visit all the planets you see here". What they left out of that statement was that 90% of the planets were nothing but a codexes/codices and some of the planets that you COULD visit were wastelands. New ME players can get a summary of what happened in ME1 in ME2. True, but I will say it was really enjoyable seeing elements from ME1 come back in ME3 if you have the save files. Absolutely! I'm hoping they'll release a next-gen version of the ME1-3 at one point. All three games for the price of one or something. I would love to play ME1 on the ME2/3 engine.

  9. Is it Mass Effect 1? ME1 is a bit of a mess. A beautiful mess, though. But it's slow as fuck. Read the story on a Wikipedia page and then skip straight to ME2. Now that's a great fucking game.
  10. this is what i imagine you look like ... SPOT ON!
  11. Wolfenstein the new order is pretty cool. The cutscenes are surprisingly good. Like REALLY good! Gameplay-wise it is what it is but the violence and atmosphere keeps it interesting.
  12. That last bass is actually pretty fucking cool.
  13. My boss is good at confusing himself and others. FUCK!
  14. I just realized that the professor from Independence Day is Data... ...mind blown.
  15. Yup, that's the one. Depressing shit. But Emily Browning is really something...
  16. I should have picked up the food 45 minutes ago. I've told a friend of mine who lives near the restaurant that he can pick up the food if he wants to.
  17. Ordered some take-out online. Or at least, I thought I did. Turns out the restaurant doesn't deliver. You HAVE to come and pick up your food and I don't want to - and I already paid for it. So now I'm just sitting at home not knowing if I should order something else or just eat some cereal.
