  1. yeah I haven't done it yet either. Also... it's a bit of a task to come up with the best yourself. That's why I suggested using the telescope time without tears method.
  2. yeah, defo. a bit earlier perhaps, not quite as complex with the edits and fx. A good artist knows when to show restraint. I could see it being done before/after/during. PAPAT4 is a pretty recent track too.
  3. did his name change again? I can't find the tracks...
  4. protip, clear your browser cache every time before you refresh the tracklist. It's caching like hell for me.
  5. I like the new ordering on the fast playlist.
  6. I'm really curious about the timeline of some of these tracks, like the cottage/elb/cheetah tracks.
  7. Is there a thread for playlists? Here's one I've got right now, It's a little all over the place but it flows nicely for me between happy ambient and more dark acid funkyness. 1. blue carpet 2. cottage4 af 3. last clissold maybe 4. elb1 5. notting hill bus 6. slow early morning 7. luke vibert remix (future music) 8. ibiza spliff 9. fly beats 10. synthi rhy 11. elb2 12. red calx[slo] 13. custom break acid 1
  8. I don't think you can, or at least can't see any way to temporarily disable my own account. Maybe it's different for Pro users? Or maybe he sent them an e-mail and asked them to fix it from a backup or something? They have a support form you can fill out if you deleted your account and want it recovered. Somebody linked to it a while back.
  9. exactly. Now that I have been forced to download them I've been having fun curating them into smaller playlists that make it more digestible. and also realized how much better the quality is in the downloaded versions.
  10. unless that link was posted somewhere else before (it's unlisted) and this person running the account jumped on it SUPER quick, then I think it's safe to say this account has inside knowledge.
  11. at least we have the tracks. Hopefully he shows up again somewhere besides soundcloud for the rest of the tracks he wanted to get to. (bandcamp maybe?)
  12. sounds like Kettel in a way similar to the "Organ" track.
  13. just speculating, but I think that maybe one of the next aphex releases out may be drukqs outtakes or a drukqs sequel. CCAI pt. 2 was in a sense drukqs outtakes (well not exactly). But he mentions on the soundcloud about something he's planning to release and says "I've got some other stuff to chuck out first". Seems like one of the reasons there haven't been much (if any) drukqs outtakes on the dump are that he's planning on a release to pair with CCAI pt. 2. That's probably total fucking wishful thinking but whatever.
  14. him mentioning that one track was in his top 10 of his own tracks, makes me really curious to know what his personal top 10 is.
  15. Yeah I think I owned the promo version and I never knew that the full version existing until I downloaded. blew my mind. Speaking of which, I just discovered that a version of drukqs I have has a weird reverby atmospheric fade-in and fade-out sounds kind of cool adds about 10 seconds to Jynweythek Ylow. Is that normal, from some official release? Seems to have a couple other edits. The CD copy that I got from the library years back definitely didn't have that. Wait, I think I found it, it's from marie antoinette soundtrack. Who added this edit to the track?
  16. after listening to syro and then going back to the tuss, I think the tuss is some of his best stuff ever. Except drukqs, drukqs will always be my favorite.
  17. and also, the less he dumps soundclowns, the more time new music he can work on
  18. Noli equi dentes inspicere donati y'all are thinking way too much about this. If he finds more tracks he wants to upload and he has free time to do so, then he'll probably do that. If he doesn't, he doesn't.
  19. w/ ceephax I always have random tracks just pop out and become my favorite. This one became one of my faves, that descending bassline is just so satisfying.
  20. I wonder if there is more stuff like the drukqs promo tracks.... delco freedom, etc.
  21. I had a dream that I woke up to find like 215 track count. And it was all 1997+ era stuff and tons of comments about the new tech used on them and stuff. Then when I really woke up I wasn't sure if it was a dream or not. Was confused in the morning. Those mikep tracks are blowing my mind also. I can't believe these guys were making music for so long.
