Came here to ask if this is worth watching, or if it will just piss me off as a fan of the book. Anyone?

Lots of other languages already have tonality as part of the language, especially the various Chinese dialects, but also others like Burmese, Thai, Lao, and many of the languages spoken across South Asia. Don't know about other areas of the world, but I'd guess lots of them have tonal languages.

I think that's all ok, just to note that working social democracies seem all things considered to be more focused towards providing basic needs for everyone (healthcare, education, jobs etc) and less so towards abolishing free markets and abolishing the private sector (altough for the US and other countries to move towards that I suppose some of that is nessesary..) Markets play an important role in a healthy economy. Completely unregulated markets (which is not what the US has, but what many imagine they want) are not healthy.

Man you should read the stuff that Vitalik is saying. These are not insignificant problems. I don't disagree, that blockchain tech is highly valuable, but there are some major issues with cryptocurrency.

Cryptokitties jammed the hell out of the eth network. It needs to scale. To say "everything is getting better each week" is just blind fanboyism. Issues are being worked on, but there are a lot of things that need to be worked out.

Yea, basically done to move the story. It didn't feel right. But, I've never really bought their relationship as a couple. It's been my biggest drawback with the show. 100 emoji. It isn't even a good platonic sell because most friends will have more physical contact just by accident than these 2. I'm also out altogether on the show. The AMC app and their web streaming site were fucking up on me so I got behind. I got the kinks worked out and began catching up but goooodddddddaaaaaaaammmnnnnnnnnn is this show slow. I abandoned it somewhere after the piñata scene even though everything was working fine. I might regret it because there's some enjoyable parts for sure and I really liked seasons past. I can't hang on this pacing anymore though. Follow through - for real. Otherwise it's like infinite edging... I don't mind they don't have the exposition of the relationship, it's pretty clear they're doing the fucking. Just the argument in the latest episode didn't seem well acted - I think Odenkirk might be reaching the limit of his dramatic chops.

Does Werner play a role in BB? Thought the Kim/Jimmy fight scene was a little...unbelievable? But otherwise a great episode. Moving the characters and story along.

If Ethereum fails OmiseGo fails. If OmiseGo succeeds it helps Ethereum.It’s functionality is tied into the Ethereum blockchain for extra security. However, plasma (which OMG will be operating on) is independent from Ethereum. Additionally, there is always the possibility of OMG moving entirely to its own blockchain, instead of using Ethereum for extra security. OMG succeeding does not necessarily cause a rise in the value of Ethereum.

Personally I think Tim Berners-Lee new joint is going to be more important. inrupt.com Deflationary currencies, even “on the blockchain”, just don’t cut the mustard. Maybe something like OMG will be revolutionary for payment processing and money remittance, but you know the entrenched players are working hard to build something that will compete.
