In theory a power supply that has a box on it or the plug transforms the voltage [etc] and will prob put a clean voltage into the synth [or else you'd prob get loads more hum than ever!] and anything that has the transformer inside will probably be happier with a sloppy voltage and or have a voltage switch on it so you don't send UK current into a poor US circuit. So don't plug your korg into a car battery just yet, even if it says 12v on the back! Or you may have a 3rd world problem.

Except, you quote 12v DC there, most devices that run on batteries can accept fluctuating voltages, check the output on a car battery, it fluctuates wildly, and most devices that run offa car batteries can accommodate this happily.

Yeh you probably just shorted the circuits on the hard drive controller not the drive itself, take it out and stick it in another enclosure.

yeh plus the bites take a few days to show up? i got dem bites twice in the same hostel on different occasions but: #1 anti bedbug tip: don't leave your bag open or sleep in your clothes in shit rooms i have no idea how solid my tip is but my flat remains bed bug free, don't give those little immigrants a ride they'll take over your bed then get you fired from work and steal your girlfriend.

Madame Chaos: It's not cheap to stay in hostels in Burma atm, or anything, the tourism is not lucrative enough to start a price war, I currently can't afford to go there as it's 1000% more expensive than where I live [Cambodia] for things like accommodation and transport. But if you take your own bike, smart phone and hammock you can prob do it all for free, knock on people's doors and ask to sleep on their floor, I have a friend doing that atm with his bike totally doable fun and free of 'guides'

Just started watching Twin Peaks, as well, bizarrely as I've seen every other Lynch and had the Twin Peaks OST since I was miniscule. It's good.

They didn't / don't check ? Well I certainly had no issue waltzing through the airport. Few class Bs in the check in luggage too. I might be insane but you should give it a go as well see if in a blind test you get busted and I don't we can then tell the thread it's a 50/50 thing.

As a person who expected nothing I was not let down by this album at all, and I wasn't underwhelmed and continue to be overwhelmed by it. Pretty good, but yeh I wasn't expecting anything it's not his job to fucking cater for my every need what are you guys a bunch of needy afx heads who want everything to be particularly as you please? Mental, I tell thee, it is political correctness gone fucking syrobonkus. Gonna listen to Syro tomorrow hope this helps. greetz
