For some reason I can't quote or copy paste right now (wtf) anyway. jhonny's post toward the top of this page is how I've felt. I don't know anyone who is really into Aphex. People I know are "into" aphex but are only like "oh cool new album" and have never heard the youtube clips. Only had one friend a while back who would cream over every new analord release. Somehow he has no internet presence and the only way to contact him is by phone. -Anyway. I am in the same boat. I was excited with all the YT copyright stuff but had no one to tell. no one who would understand. :( Also thanks to Jason. I love your YT channel too

Its' been "Pirate All Media" for me since 2013 - but this will be the first album I buy in over a year Also, Ive worn out the metz and manchester tracks, but ony really listened to the Singapore track yesterday and its too good to listen to!! LOL I want to wait for the release. metz and man were heard while thinking there would NEVER be another aphex album, so I ate them up. Something about him obsessively listening to a lot of music made me smile. Also that he was touched by WATMM's efforts. Also - Yeah that 5 album talk got me hard, but this is Richard. He's been talking about the albums he doesnt and wont release for a long time. It's tradition.

If this were being released by Rephlex it would have been cancelled already (but with catalog number assigned). The rephlex webpage would be back but only with the logo on the page and that's it. Some foreign article would mention a release date an nothing would ever happen.

Ugh. I would LOVE to attend the listening party in NYC but I think it will be filled with Pitchfork blowhards and the entire staff of VICE, The Fader and Fools Gold.

for the most part, "Radio Rap" has always sucked regardless of region. even going back 15 years ago.

Had a few good stoned driving times to Extinguished. This was during a time when I actually had a group of friends with similar musical interests. We would always purchase, rip and trade, or DL rip and trade. Prefuse and Savath projects came to me in that way and I was into them. Went to see him live in Austin in 04 (?) but I was fucked out of my head. All I remember is that he had a drummer and I was sitting slouched on a seat by the wall the whole time. I was into it. One thing I stumbled on later was a project of his called "A Cloud Mireya" I have no idea how I got it but I really liked it (this is after sort of 'giving up' on prefuse after purchasing "Sounds of Silence" on a whim). I noticed it's not listed on his Wikipedia page and I haven't heard a lot of people mention it but it's become one of my favorites.
