    Yeah... I feel kind of guilty having some of my best times in a while while in isolation. But I also have a couple friends living on the same property that I see regularly, so it's not really that isolated.

    Huh. i think this is actually a fairly common thing. Joe Barressi did that for one of the bands he was recording, and each member left the session with their own cassette of studio farts. Also New Order learned how to use their first sampler by experimenting with their farts (allegedly).

    Yeah, the fact we got a quarter of those overnight is disconcerting. We've definitely done better with reducing numbers than many countries, but it seems to me like it's still set for exponential growth in the near future, whatever the reason. Also BC (where I am) was quite a few days behind on a lot of these public safety measures. Yes, this. Or if you have to cough/sneeze etc. I think most people are unclear on that.

    WTF @ Canada jumping from 13 deaths in one day yesterday to 52 today. Total daily cases jumped from ~1,000 to ~1,500! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

    I listened to Death's Scream Bloody Gore album last night. Evil Dead was a standout for me. Kind of hilarious how sloppy the drums are in the intro (Lars, is that you?), but great tune nevertheless. Sorry, I realize this is like posting about Nevermind the Bullocks in a punk thread. C'est la vie.

    It would be nice to see Trump act like he feels even a little bit bad for having his negligence in handling this cost the lives of thousands of people (at this point, to say nothing of the months to come). I know it's asking for a lot, and it would be an empty gesture. But he could at least try to pretend he isn't a sociopath at a time like this.
