  1. omg I think I'm going to create a new project just to feature this motherfucker. So many feels.
  2. I didn't buy anything. But I finally tried out this Oberheim Matrix 6 synth that was given to me months ago. Hot damn that's a cool a synth. Idiots be hoarding all the toilet paper when really they should have been stocking up on Oberheims. I've won this epidemic.
  3. Costco toilet paper aisle (friend was just there). Shower works better anyway. The world is dumb. No more bum wiping for you, non-hysterical citizens of Langford.
  4. Skip the Dishes now has a "contactless delivery" option, courtesy of Corona.
  5. Amongst all the corona hysteria in the current news cycle, the above ass washing life hack should be mentioned to combat the toilet paper hoarding epidemic. As long as your shower's still running, toilet paper is not the be-all and end-all.
  6. My friend's brother has it.
  7. Corona virus bumped my date from next weekend to this weekend, due to said date's group debate being cancelled. Large venues sure hate this thing.
  8. Learned today that Drake is that fellow from the "nope... alright!" meme. Neat.
  9. Honestly, I get more consistent satisfaction from frozen pizza over delivery pizza, and at 50-25% the cost, I really should probably just stick to that. I often add sundried tomatoes, chilies, and extra cheese. That plus sriracha combined with the fact it's always right from the oven - hard to go wrong.
  10. Well, I mean it's cool if you set yourself a deadline and then take the measures to ensure you're putting in all the necessary work in to meet it. But sometimes clients will still have a bunch of shit to record, and they want to know if I'm available to do a session XYZ, and then have it all mixed for some date right after that. It's like, yeah, I can, but obviously that's going to be a case of finishing for the sake of finishing. Not because it's actually ready. I'm sure when you released it, you were confident it was the album you wanted it to be. Sounds dope, by the way.
  11. Yeah, i thought it might be something like that. But I'm no... germ-ologist (though I clearly know the jargon).
  12. They probably do slightly more than nothing. It's not necessarily airtight, but surely having your mouth/nose less exposed is safer than completely exposed?
  13. Saw a white woman wearing a surgical mask downtown, so I guess my city's finally caught the coronoia.
  14. Clients who arrange release dates before an album's finished. Why? Finish your album, then sort out a release so you're not making regrettable rash last minute decisions for the sake of a random deadline that doesn't matter. Sometimes it's just because they like how the date sounds.
  15. MHARTC and Trans-Canada Highway EP were the soundtrack to one of my recent delivery shifts. That Davan Cowboy track is quite good.
  16. There's neither an illustrated children's book of the Spanish inquisition, nor a scratch 'n' sniff. WTF. So disappointed with society.
  17. Any time I deliver a pizza I fantasize about taking one slice for myself. Gets me all hot and bothered imagining the initial box reveal just minutes after I've left the scene. Really want to do it at least once.
  18. When I was sick with a cold as a kid, my mom would send me to school anyway to contaminate the other kids. That's probably not actually why she sent me to school, but it was the effect. So just tell 'em Zephyr's mom sent you and it should be okay.
  19. Prawn tempura is the most consistent dish across all restaurants. Prove me wrong.
  20. Two Scrabble opponents have each played the word "job" as their last move against me. Between this thread and those Scrabble plays I feel like there's a message in there somewhere. Possibly I need to sign up for a Scrabble tournament and live off my winnings.
  21. I record musicians, occasionally am called upon to make music for an ad, and delivery food for Skip whenever I feel like it (don't even bother setting my schedule because there's usually shifts available any time I check the app). The thing I've always considered to be my real work, which pays nothing, is working on my music in various projects. I really like having a lifestyle where I'm never on a set schedule, save setting up studio sessions with clients. I never make much money, but I value my time a lot more. For the most part, I enjoy the work that I do. Driving delivery is actually really fun. Sometimes I do it just because it happens to be the thing I want to be doing above any of my other options. I basically get paid to drive around in a souped up stereo system.
  22. Back in ancient times, I did an ICQ search for people in my town who listed IDM as an interest. There were 2 results, who also happened to be best friends. One of them I ended up being in a relationship with for 10 years, the other I'm still friends with. As for randomly discovering a mutual appreciation for the iddems in the real world, I don't recall it ever happening.
  23. I'm impressed that more than half of watmm actually enjoys their work. I thought that percentage would be much lower.
