Nameless #4...of 5 apparently; interested to see how he pulls this one out of the hat.
Was meaning to pick this up but not gotten round to it. Will pick up the TP if it ever gets compiled, overall positive?

I reckon in 10 (20?) Years time we will look back and say opn was the Vangelis / Eno for the 21st century.
His tunes are super fresh and out there, very cinematic in scope but also a bit fucking nuts.
His current catalogue is already very expansive and I'm a bit excited about where he can go with it next.

This thread could quite easily cost me a lot of money.
Some great suggestions, really like the look of Inercia and Providence.
What are peoples thoughts on digital comics?
Im still very much in the camp of needing a physical copy. Happy to read a digital preview then buy the shit out of it if I like it. -
This 10" series is going to be costly.

Am I the only one who finds it weird that there are only 590 votes at the moment?
Considering there are more than 67.000 followers on Soundcloud...
I don't expect all of them to vote, but a bit more surely, will the link to the poll be spread to wider group of people or did rdj explicitly ask to keep it here on watmm?
I can't decide, therefore not voting until nearer the deadline.
To be fair, there are probably 100 tracks i've never even listened to once yet.

^ a few holiday snaps from Wales.
And an arty one from work (might be a dupe). This was a bucket of stainless steel swarf from the lathe. Looked cool.

DC is all over the place. They seem to have ditched the new 52 concept already, and everything else is crossed over with everything else to the point that I've lost the will to follow any of their comics.
Both the great stories I was following have been axed (swamp thing and animal man). I have also been following Justice league Dark but its just a scrappy crossover mess and I'm giving up.

Played this album through last night really loud. Dang, it slays.

There's probably about 50% of these tracks I've not even heard yet. Started to vote but I don't feel I can make an informed decision on this yet.

Yeah sad this project has come to an end. Would be happy to help try and pick up the compiling but JD has already done loads of the donkey work.

It's lame BC doesn't add free tracks to your library, unless you paid for em.
Yeah that sucks, I remember mentioning it for one of the previous "most IDM" compilations. I think its an option the provider has to enable?

A strange thing just happened.
I just listened to this album all the way through on vinyl and ready enjoyed it.
Played sides 4 > 2 > 3 then 1 so I could continuously mix through on my decks.
Probably the first time in 6 months ive listened to this album and it sounded great

This is where the book lost me and I had to put it down. Never did finish it, maybe I'll give it another go some time.
It is. There's a section in the middle where he goes pretty far into the TNT stuff. Helped me to actually write and transcribe some of it.Gödel, Escher Bach - 50 pages in, 700 to go, and if the first 50 pages are representative of the whole book, this is going to be one of those books you have to read with pen and pencil besides you
Just finished Murakami's Hard Boiled Wonderland....good, quick novel. First book of his I've read.
Currently reading Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay, a Canadian writers one book fantasy epic. Pretty decent so far. I prefer concise fantasy over 8-book ongoing sagasl

Yeah looks fun. Is it a one off series? Looks like it would work well as like a 6 episode series
