Underworld with Drift 2.0 or a new studio album
Would be nice to hear the next iteration of Venetian Snares. He has been very quiet of late. Hope he is doing ok.

Kind of annoyed about the release date. Why can't this be a Christmas release? Burial has effectively broken the xmas tradition.
Covid / RSD / Brexit delays, take your pick.

lol £10.99 for an EP on CD in a card slipcase.

44 minutes of foreplay by the sounds of it. No climax?

I've got a bottle of Sloe Gin ready for the weekend. Enjoy / be sad / rage, whichever way the alcohol takes you today.

I've been slow on this but listening now.
I still listen to last year's Supervene album regularly - just realised there was a follow up EP earlier this year so thats on next.

Up to episode 8 of my show now, featuring the likes of Urschmerz, Volunteer Coroner, Pigswill, Scum Alice, Lutkie, Non-Bio, Hannya White, Wellness Regime, The Conduits, Dit Sese and myself. Festive!
Happy to hear from any WATMM'ers who may have some dismal dark noisy sounds that I could play...

I've been looking at the Call of Cthulhu Starter Set as it includes the 1 player scenario and I might be able to get Mrs Tump interested in it this way.

I watched Lynch's Dune on Saturday night, and aside from having massive eye brows, it is never explained what Mentats do. At least this scene kind of shows you.

Some stuff that helped out and hasn't been mentioned yet:
Dilloway and Dalt is absolutely stunning. Gonna be high up my list when I write it down.

Lynch's Dune just popped up on Netflix so I'm going in. Not seen it for ages.
Totally forgot Lynch had a cameo in it.
Jack Nance, Everett McGill.... It's a twin peaks pre party
Some afterthoughts..... It didn't feel like as much of a cluster fuck as I remember. Maybe I've got spice tinted glasses, or the story is fresh in my head, but I'm now excited for Villeneuve part 2. The messing with Lynch's production is more obvious in the latter parts of the film where so much story is rammed in, for a while if feels like it's not far off the pacing of the new movie. Then bam... Acceleration. Such a shame it was butchered this way as otherwise it's not so bad.

Today I released my first DIY tape - a split with BLACKCLOUDSUMMONER. It was fun to put together and I learned a few things too - so there may be more tapes in the future....
We each provide an exploratory noisy longform track of around 16 minutes per side.
If you grab the digital from me there is a bonus track on there too.

I finally
watchedattempted to watch Prometheus. I made it about 20 minutes in. Absolute trash. I paused the movie after the opening scene and questioned whether I should keep going. Hit play. They start introducing the most ham-fisted stereotypical idiot characters in the world, one by one, and I was done. -12/10Yep, pretty much this.
Although Prometheus is better than Covenant, so you best not even try to watch that one,

My rock friend took me to see Velvet Revolver years back, and it was ok. Slash did an encore solo on a bar stool under a spotlight, cool as fuck.
So in return I took him to see Red Snapper and Venetian Snares and it blew his mind haha....

Ok thanks but can you paste the actual interview?
No it's imbedded in a program, you have to click the link and emulate the Mac 2.1, open the folder, load the zine, find the article.
Like, actual legwork

I’m maybe the last person on earth to watch Squid Game. It’s pretty good. Not mind-blowing, but entertaining. I feel like the story starts to click around episode 5. A lot of what happens before that feels like it was written by a 14 year old.
I finished watching it last night. Really enjoyed it. I see S2 is already in the offing, but let's be honest it won't be as good as it will be all world building and explanation which isn't needed.

I have a few older Ghost of 3.13 albums, glitchy breakcore with very cool productions and classical bits. Keen to hear if the sound had progressed at all in the past 15 years.....

@Soloman Tump Great seats and view. I think the last IMAX film was a Star Wars one, not sure, it was that memorable
. The barn where you saw Dune, do they do films there regularly? I love locations like that.
Yes they do.
Its certainly not the best (biggest!) screen but its a lush place.
