  1. Just watching Westworld finally now that its on NowTV. On episode 5, pretty cool.
  2. Not seen any season 7 yet. Not sure if I want to subject myself to 12+ hours of it. Maybe if I break an arm/leg and I find myself with a month off work or something.
  3. My GAS is strong at present. I (dangerously) installed the Reverb app to my phone and now keep finding awesome second hand pedals / circuit bent one-offs that I reckon would be good for me. I have managed to find myself some personal time / space to dedicate to making/playing music again but then money isn't particularly free flowing lately. My garden fence needs repairing / replacing but then I'd love a H2N field mic
  4. If I bash them on the table I can make some nice rhythms.
  5. Annie was a Tulpa of Coopers deceased wife, used to lure him into the black lodge. Hence the strange qualities of Annie, and why Bob asked about her at the end of S2. Good theory. seems legit.

Another good one got through this morning, short but sweet. Also, no links to click, no attachments, nothing. I guess the money really is coming my way!
  7. :( I also am collecting the Alan Moore era of Swamp Thing TPs, not read most of it before. Great art / page layout / story. I actually enjoyed the New-52 era Swamp Thing.
  8. This is on the complete blu-ray box set. Good watch of Kale and Matchkin. Can't wait for tonights episode and see where they take it after last week! Only 3 more left I think?! How will they wrap it all up.
  9. Great show got people talking and thinking about what they watched. Not many other shows can do that.

  11. A new noisy / drone jam inspired by the forthcoming nuclear apocalypse:- Listen to Trident In The Road by Soloman Tump #np on #SoundCloud https://soundcloud.com/soloman-tump/trident-in-the-road
  12. My latest thought is that it is all janey-E and Sonny Jims fault (via Cooper). Cooper created a Tulpa for them to live a happy life at the start of episode 18. In order for balance to be restored, some pain and sorrow was needed to counteract the happy life he had created. Thus Laura was snatched away by Judy as they headed for Jack Rabbits palace. If Cooper had not created a Tulpa for Janey-E / SJ (who possibly was Diane's half sister? Cooper didn't know this I guess?) then would that have been enough pain and sorrow to allow Laura to live?
  13. What you don't see and what you don't know is, to me, more terrifying than what is presented to us and explored visually. So Sarah Palmer moaning and making guttural growls off screen then dashing in to smash up the photo was indeed very sinister. When nothing is happening on screen you can build tension and allow your brain to form ideas / look for things that may or may not be happening. Laura Palmer did the same during their long car journey back to Twin peaks - "are we being followed?" - the answer was NO but whilst sat there contemplating what she was doing in a car with an unknown FBI agent, the fear was building inside her and the tension I felt whilst watching it followed suit. A lot of Hollywood has forgotten this fantastic skill - eg Ridley Scott in 1979 giving us glimpses of the terrifying Alien beast hiding in the shadows, then is 2017 mainsplaining it to us with full-on CGI and a potted history lesson. There is nothing scary about having the entire situation and meaning laid out for you. True horror lies in the human mind.
  14. Part 17 was a great conclusion. I would have been happy with that as an ending. Part 18 was a really uneasy ride and idk. I feel this is what Lynch wanted. Job done m8
  15. the owls are tutting furiously

  16. Lol, brilliant. Fuck knows what's going to happen in the finale. Any conjecture / prediction is surely to fail. This is what has made it compelling television. Going to be sad when it's over.
  17. I still think (hope) Bowie recorded a song for the Roadhouse / Bang Bang bar. It will be aired right at the end of the last episode.
