Guest my usernames always really suck

My brother died after overdosing on marijuana.

He was invited by the "cool kids" to hang out at some kids house whose liberal parents had left for the weekend.

My brother, always a moral and thoughtful individual, wanted to attend because it was one of those massive house parties that he'd never been to.

Well, as was later recalled by some of his friends at the party, he was pressured into smoking marijuana. He ended up smoking the entire pack of marijuana cigarettes.

Not long after he went into convulsions and started foaming at the mouth. The people at the party held back calling 9/11 for almost 10 minutes.

When the paramedics finally arrived they could do nothing to save him.

The autopsy revealed he had 3 times the lethal dosage of THC in his blood.

But I'm sure everyone here will deny my story and the fact that my brother died after smoking that illegal narcotic.

I think weed never killed a man.

Maybe his stupid actions afterwards yes (or incompetent health care).

Never forget that 2pac told us to smoke weed every day...

I heard on the radio that they wanted to make pillz into a class C but ministers wouldn't allow it!

Changing green into a class B is just an easy thing to make it look like MP's are actually trying to do something, shit it's not like everyone out 'up town' on a Friday night is on coke these days (ahem  ) but the people who'd rather stay in and smoke aren't out sniffing whilst also spending shit loads on taxed booze.

Tiz all about the money.

Everyone knows that the classifications are ridiculous. I have had in depth conversations with police officers who agree. This means nothing, its not even news worthy of acknowledgement.

there's never been a documented case of marijuana killing someone.... i heard an urban legend once though that a mexican truck driver ran off the road and was killed by the 20 tons of weed in the back landing on top of him, which was ruled as an OD.....

apart from that, as far as anyone can tell having done tests on animals etc, to have a 'lethal dose' of weed you'd have to smoke about 1500 pounds of the shit in 15 minutes....

I'd say that ket is a bigger threat to "youngens" at the minute. Can't go into a club round here without seeing a horde of zombies anymore.

its not about death, its about what it does to some peoples brains, and these people should have more sense to see what it does to you and stop. moderation is the key.

I recently had a stint in a psychiatric ward and I know the manic phase I went into started when I had a bong (first one in about 2 years). I was aware it was happening but tried to deny it and hoped it would go away. A similar thing happened 7 years ago. You will probably say I have a pre-disposition but I don't think there's anything to indicate that really. I used to think the anti-drug ads that warn of the mental effects of Marijuana were silly and unnecessary scare-mongering but now I realize the reality is that they have been forced to do this due to how many patients they see with problems stemming from Marijuana. The main problem being that people see it as a safe, risk-free drug. Sorry to harsh any buzzes but class B please.

It's fine if you don't feel you can make decisions for yourself, but I quite like using my rational free choice and don't feel the need for some out of touch headline grabbing pricks to tell me what I can and can't do.

You think people are poorly educated about the drug and therefore it should be made more illegal... weird conclusion

All this will do is fuck up a small proportion of smokers who are unlucky enough to get screwed. It's not like I'm any different from the poor bastard who got caught and has a criminal record, nor are any of the other millions of current or ex smokers including half the fucking politicians who are pushing this piece of shit.

The more time and shit decisions go by the more I hate the government, and the more I hate the fact that there's no chance of change in sight. I'm coming to the conclusion that to get into power you have to be a prick.

I don't even smoke that much but this really pisses me off

i think it's good that it's a class b in UK, only because most british people are too stupid to handle themselves on weed. i mean, look at what they've done to themselves with ecstacy. you folks don't really deserve to have any sort of chemical freedom, imho.
