producer

noun

a company, country or person that provides goods, especially those which are produced by an industrial process or grown or obtained through farming, usually in large amounts:

customer

noun

a person who buys goods or a service

so what's so awful about those meanings?

this reminds me of a girl i knew who hated the word 'great' because she thought it was only ever used sarcastically, she thought the word itself was sarcastic like how dance music is intelligent.

I hate words used in the wrong context, usually by sports commentators, specifically:

'Gifted'

as in 'he's gifted him that penalty'. No, he's given him that penalty, or possibly, 'that penalty was a gift'. Gifted is an adjective, not a verb.

'Medal'

'if he wants to medal in this event, he's going to have to run under 10 seconds'

NO. Medal is not a verb, It's a fucking noun.

I'm glad I got that off my chest.
