No, he's given him that penalty, or possibly, 'that penalty was a gift'. Gifted is an adjective, not a verb. 'Medal' 'if he wants to medal in this event, he's going to have to run under 10 seconds' NO. Medal is not a verb, It's a fucking noun. I'm glad I got that off my chest.
