Made this thread last year and most people moaned about previous years (not without good reason)

I am indeed going, but i have heard the venue can potentially be a bit of a mudbath being a natural bowl and that.

Dave Clarke, Exile, Snares, Limewax and Beardyman are some of the current names tickling my fancy.

You should get on it Kaen, the new vibe looks good

i'm going.

working with oxfam again. it was hilarious last year. getting wasted, doing silly shifts from 4am till 12pm on saturday, after friday nights bangface tent.....

took some interesting substances and a sack of wine to make that worthwhile.

met some insane people backstage too.

and got most of glade for free! (including autechre)

I like the idea of going but i would need a 100% guarantee that the weather would be dry. I'm not going through that shit again.

Yeah me too. Ive never been to glade, can u leave the site? cos i live like 15 mins away and id rather sleep in my own bed.

don't think you can leave the site and come back really, but you can get day tickets i think - about £30 or something.

Ha day ticket then, sorted. I spect thats only on the last day though isnt it, u could just get your mates to take a tent in and never leave?

I'm almost certain you can leave the site and come back! I had to go out to give a mate their ticket the other year and I got back in, can't see that they'll change it?

Apparently after the muddy homelands there was some new drainage put in so if it does rain it shouldn't be a problem

I'm going. Only a couple of names exciting me so far but yup there are loads to be announced yet and I have faith it'll still be good :)

yeah, you can obviously leave the site briefly to nip out to your car or meet your mate or something, but i don't think they'd like you actually buggering off home and coming back the next day. this is why they have day tickets.

Tickets will be sent out 3-4 weeks before the festival and information, including exact directions and so forth will be send with them.

The gates open at midday on Thursday, 16th July.

There are no day tickets.

There's never normally day tickets for Glade. What'll happen is that they will give you a pass out slip, you go home and sleep, come back, present your pass out slip, get let back in. Sorted! (Though I'd still camp, it's more in the spirit of it)

where you located man, you cant be far from me

Little bit north of winchester going towards andover, so not in the direction southampton, but its not that far at all. Being so near makes it very apealing this year.

dammit man, this will be the second year i've been on the verge of doing the Oxfam thing. I suppose the only reason i'm not is that I can't convince any mates to get involved.

Anyways there's allways next year, should be a cracking weekend.

My fingers are crossed for more techstep/tearout D&B. Current Value was immense last year.

How far away do you live Kaen?
