I read earlier. I'd like to know 3D Realms have actually been doing for 15 years. Pissing the Duke Nukem money up the wall, I guess.

LOL, I remember the weeks of fevered anticipation for DN3D to come out... I had only recently got into PC Gaming and at the time it seemed like the second coming. I remember my father bringing home the shareware on a CD when you could still buy such things in game shops for a few quid. Life was complete.

RIP Dukey. You became a joke.

I think the admins have to unban everyone from the Something Awful forums if this is ever released. 3D Realms should stop being so selfish and consider the happiness of others.

oh man a graphic designer, that's a rare commodity I'm sure they're having a hard time finding them.

fuck that, fuck predator. we need some james cameron-directed Aliens-based shooter

The Predator aspect was alarming and disappointing, but for the vast vast majority of the Marine campaign, you're just fighting Xenomorphs in Aliens-esque locales. It's fucking terrifying and you're so vulnerable. As for the Alien campaign... it's sheer head-chomping joy. There's a button you can press to hiss - it doesn't do anything else, but you hiss intimidatingly.

The Predator bits were standard FPS fare, and pretty crap.

Maybe if some of the 3DR people spent less time developing AdultFriendFinder spinoffs they'd actually finish it.

edit: haha my friend will be out a job

So fucking true. The AvP Marines section is the most atmospheric FPS ever. When you hear your radar, you see it coming, its almost pitch black except the light of your helmet, and then BOOM! It friggin jumps in your face and you scream like a girl at your computer.

Especially since the Aliens were in infinite number, they would span again and again. You couldn't run from them.

Gee I have to download that game again. Never played AvP2, is it good?

p.s.: BALLS OF STEEL! BALLS! BALLS! BALLS! BALLS! BALLS! BALLS! BALLS!
