Bioshock 2 walkthrough trailer

Maybe i should go back and try to finish the original, but it got boring after a while. This trailer doesnt really seem like its introducing many new concepts to the gameplay other than new weapons and new ways to experience the same things, but i guess thats what can you expect from a sequel. The ocean walk was cool though

All it needs is a bit of variety. The last one was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was thicker than anything I've ever seen/experienced before in a game, but it got a tiny bit boring after a while. I have to say that the only reason why I didn't complete it the first time was that it got too repetitive, but I finally finished it when I decided to write about it for my exam project. It was a bit too linear, repetitive enemies, but the story was brilliant.

As far as I remember, lumpenprol is working on Bioshock 2. Awesome.

I hear what you're saying, Squee. I tried to alleviate some of the repetitive combat by experimenting with different weapon and plasmid combinations, using environmental stuff... but it was that atmosphere and story that kept me going. Until the disgusting let-down of the final boss and ending! I miss Bioshock, though - my 360 chewed up the disc.

yeah. This will probably be the final week we contribute to it *watches little sister wander away from the protection of her big daddy into cruel world*

 

have no idea if the final package will be good or bad...

a separate studio is handling the multiplayer, so it won't be a tacked on experience. supposedly everyone will play Rapture test subjects let loose on each other, and there will be over 100 plasmids for endless combinations. thinking of totally customizable combat techniques played out in a darkened underwater city gives me night skeets.
