In our collective fridge there's nothing that explicitly belongs to me except some cheese and butter, a packet of veggie sausages, some falafal, and some communal milk.

There was a muller fruit corner (red cherry flavour only, thanks) in there but I ate it last night.

Actually I think there might be a can or two of Special Brew lurking around at the back...

You know, one thing that has always puzzled me is why its called a REfridgerator. I mean, in order for it to be a RE fridgerator, there would have had to be an initial fridgerator whose purpose was to cool the food down initially. The problem is that there is no such thing, even the first ever fridge that anything gets put into is still called a refridgerator. Help me out here guys

I keep seeing this thread, and it bothers me. It is refrigerator. :|

Anyways, mine is full of food, such as some type of Key Lime Pie and salad, and beverages, such as milk and water.

refridgerator comes from the latin verb "refrigerare" litteraly meaning "to cool down", figuratively "to dampen sb's spirits" (hence the "keep cool man !" when the concerned person gets upset)

refrigerare is comoposed of "-frigerare", "to cool", and "re-", meaning the intensity of the act, not the repetitiveness (also called iterative aspect of the verb)

now, call me a serious cunt.

Chai mix, one-minute miso mix, three types of homemade soup, eggs, pepperjack cheese, leeks, parsley, cilantro, hummus, ketchup, mustard, sweet-hot mustard, soy sauce, milk.

Off the top of my head, probably missing half of what's in there.
