I first heard a couple of tracks a year or so ago from a friend and was definitely intrigued. It reminded me of a time when I used to make music before I discovered internets and like-minded individuals, a time when I made music without any sense of consequence or awareness of an audience. These tracks from Uncle Social are from the turn of the century, around the same time I'm talking about, and they are raw and genuine, which I find refreshingly powerful. I Will Have Cake is largely beat-driven and to me, seems to focus on creating interesting sounds and samples in lieu of melody. It's a great album to drive to in my opinion. So check it out, have a download, let us know what you think. This guy isn't a WATMMer and hasn't released anything to an audience outside of his friends so give him a shot. And if nothing else, dont skip out on the pure gold in the way the guy says "buy me a big mac" in "Just to Set the Scene."
