Tom Brady failing appreciation thread

i can appreciate this! i'm down with the NY jets, so by default i can't stand the other teams in the afc east. there were some great games this weekend... of course my jets beat cincy and left ochocinco crying on the shoulders of another man!

today's AZ vs. GB game was outstanding. it was pretty much a nail bitter for the fans of those teams i'm sure. AZ pulled through in OT! awesome

so next week:

NY vs. SD

BAL vs. IND

DAL vs. MN

AZ vs. NO

i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that it's going to be NY vs. MN in the superbowl with NY winning! that probably won't be the way it'll end up. but i have faith!

bout damn time.....got I love my home team.

The Ravens almost inexorably suck 90% of the time, yet always pull these amazing and crazy wins out of their ass, making it all worthwhile

I don't really like him, but Kurt Warner is just unreal.

As for Aaron Rodgers, he clearly learnt a lot from Brett Favre in terms of improvisation and trying to make something on his feet. But fucking hell he holds onto the ball for so long. Part of it is his shitty o-line he has in front of him, the other is just his unwillingness to try outside the pocket. The only guy I can think of that holds onto the ball as much as he does is Ben Roethlisberger, and he's famous for making big out of pocket, game saving drives.

Balls, balls balls balls balls.

Thought Pack were gonna do it when the field goal was missed.

Extraordinary game though.

As a Packers fan, mixed feelings on Favre. Gotta say never wanted him to get a Superbowl Ring with the Vikings, but it was sad to see him beat up and broken after the game last night.

Given that his last play for the Packers was throwing a crucial interception in a championship game, and it's the one stat that's always been thrown back at anyone praising him, there was a whiff of irony about last night's outcome.

I remember that pretty well, Jennings or Driver were in triple coverage and he still went for 'fuck it i'm going deep'

this is why favre is fun to watch. he's good enough that he can make these retarded wtf decisions and still be a good QB. most times. of course sometimes you really don't want him heaving it 60 yards down the field, but it's better than watching the bills.

super bowl should be awesome, saints and colts are both fantastic teams on both sides, and brees and manning are the best 2 QBs in the league.

Yep, think he always trusted his arm more than the ability of the defence, sometimes you think he just thought to himself if he threw it it would be grand sure fuck it they'd never read it or intercept it...
