Some of these descions were hard

 

S. Hawking vs. T. Bear but Hawking is more inherently IDM which Trashbear seems to stem from IDM

i think the constant ulillillia lobbying is why i enjoy seeing him lose. though i will admit the fanboyism over a socially inept retard is extremely idm.

 

strandbeest, on the other hand, is the most goddam idm thing ever, and once again, is going to get bounced way too early

I'm liking a lot of the nominations, but I feel sad that my suggested "white holes" were left out. I'm however glad that the "norway spiral" made it into the pool.

 

I have one complaint though; I feel that pitching Asperger's Syndrome vs Anything that makes you come silly awesome in the first round is a huuge huuuuuge mistake. Those two choices alone are among the top seeds in my opinion and it's therefore a bit silly to knock one out so early in the contest.

they're seeded based on the number of votes received in the first poll. so asperger's is a 7, come silly awesome is a 10. and in my opinion anything that makes you come silly awesome is more french acid techno than idm. anything that makes you come stupid hard is more idm.

im feelin donkeys with eelephone ears, factories at night, and mobius strip for some good music inspiration, smoking a pipe in a space helmet for just general idm cool, and crying in the shower as actually being the most relevant option to the real idm lifestyle.

Fred, I feel like as the organiser you shouldn't be allowed to voice your preferences really, a bit like how the Queen of England isn't supposed to get involved in politics or the premier league.
