It seems like I've heard so many songs from this album in films, or if not, the songs are very evocative. Any others you guys can think of? Atop Posted May 10, 2010 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Bands that should make scores for films: Kiln, Tortoise, and Broadcast Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai are the only modern bands I can think of that do score work... and Kronos Quartet.... Moby did some of the music for Southland Tales. and were the best Moby tracks ever....not a fan Plaid did Tekkon Kinkreet... Kettel should do film score work.... And the track Inertia Creeps seems like it should be used somewhere in a movie. I know I'm not explaining this very well, but like how a song can evoke strong cinematic images. Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance has done some brilliant stuff for film too. For my money she's the greatest musical export this shitty country has even had.
