I've never been to Vancouver, and I haven't been overseas for more than a week by myself. what should I do? If there's other people doing it then look around social-network sites or make a group so that you can get to know them. If not, just be a barfly. Might be tough the first week or so but sure make some new friends and go mad. We call them Erasmus'. I quite like vancouver; lots to see and do. Victoria is prettier but vancouver won't leave you bored.
