now that i've humiliated you:

drane is past tense for drone in autechre language. I understand they sometimes name tracks after the way the song was made and then fuck around with that word in much the same way they'll fuck around with a sample to make the music in the first place (see: ending of VL AL 5).

 

another example of naming tracks after the way they were made could be rpeg, as in an arpeggiator.
