This is the kind of music I dream of making ...

That's kind of you, but I have your last CD and I know full well you don't need to dream to make a fantastic record :sup:

I have just about everything you have put out as 36 except for the blue one. I think. it might be the red one, I have to check. but anyway, they are all such high quality, I was curious if you ever were going to incorporate any kind of beats into any of it?

wow thats almost the exact opposite of what i imagined your stuff with beats would be like! i thought it would be slower, groove oriented and atmospheric. either way, bring the green please!!

also i love the progression of your artwork too. sorry for being up your ass but i really love all your stuff man. plus my 4 moth old does too. thats a fact.

These new 3 tracks are amazing. Really brilliant balance and atmosphere... I like the path you're going, with this and the Cocoon one sounding really good

I feel really stupid, but, your website asks me for a digital format to choose because you're out of stock with vinyl or what? I wanna buy stuff, like the bundle that includes errthing. A no stocks/stocks indicator would be appreciated. Maybe that's a stupid question, I've been inflating an inflatable matress with my mouth for 25 minutes and I feel kinda confused.

Yeah, all physical records in stock include the digital version with the purchase. That's what the website is asking you for, cos theres a few different options. So when you order the vinyl/cd (or pre-order in the case of the new release) then you get the digital version emailed to you as soon as it is released.

If the actual physical record is out of stock, then the only link clickable is for the digital version, which you just download on the spot.

Oh and theres a stock count underneath the link. In the case of the new record, there's 5 copies left.

Every single thing I've listened to on the 36 website has been absolutely fantastic. Definitely some of the greatest ambient music I've heard, rivaling better-known musicians. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy any of the physical releases, due to (depressingly) high conversion costs and (understandably) high shipping costs. I'll be sure to send you some cash for the digital versions. Thank you for the lovely music, brisk!

Yep, the UK royal mail april 2011 price increase has majorly screwed us over, especially for international shipping. The prices are ridiculously high and it now costs over £10 to send an LP to the United States or Japan. Madness really and alas, all the couriers have done the same thing too. I do usually sort out distro to both JP and USA (via Linus Records + Experimedia respectively) but these 7" releases are only sold direct, cos they cost a lot to manufacture and I need to sell them all to break even (distros take quite a big cut you see, not to mention some of them even want you to pay for shipping...)

It's the reason I do those bundle packs, since I can fit every record i've ever made in a large lp mailer (minus the tapes) and it saves big on shipping each one seperately.

Anyway cheers, digital will be out later this month!

Heh, only a matter of time before people start selling them on discogs for the silly money I spose.

Anyway, all records have now sold out. Thanks!

  • 2 weeks later...

Are there any chances I get this before the 23th of June?

It's not back from the manufacturers until the end of the month, so no. Sorry :(
