no worries, it's a good point and one i didn't make at all. it is nonetheless interesting that "they" (read from the articles, read Ugandan officials and citizens) feel like they're revolting against western imperialist morality with this law, despite accepting a heavy western moral philosophy ages ago during the christians proselytization. i dunno i don't draw any conclusions from this but it's interesting the way they interpret their "own" beliefs against ones they feel the west has imposed on them, despite both mostly being borne of western imperialism
