I listen to Stardate every night at 7PM on my local public radio station: https://stardate.org/ And, going waaaaay back to my childhood, I used to watch this after Doctor Who aired on PBS on Saturday nights:

i think he looks pretty wicked. looks like straight outta them spiderman memes. Agreed - I like the eyes - one of the things the Sony Spidermen never did.

I seem to recall he liked Sony headphones...

Tomorrow's Harvest was meant an homage to 70's dystopian films and their soundtracks.

Hold on. Are YOU Richard? I can emphatically state that Redruth is NOT Richard. He's somebody though...

Amazon Japan will now allow you to purchase and ship games internationally! Must be shipped and sold by Amazon, but that opens up the import market for a lot of folks who are wary of online retailers importing games.

If you want to go the easy route, find a PSP model 2000 (the 3000 models can be hacked, but are a bit harder), and AFAIK, all firmwares up to the last one 6.36? have been cracked. I've got a sexy Japanese "Felicia Blue" PSP 2000 already modded with a ROOT battery I *might* want to let go of (running NEO GEO and CPS2 emulators on it at the moment) - here's a picture of it (not mine, a stock photo):

Yeah... so does BOC. Give that some thought.

You're better off running a SNES emulator on an old PSP with custom firmware. Screen is better too.

*jots it down, sends proposal to Dreamworks*

In other awesome news, Monster Boy (the classic Westone/SEGA franchise) is coming to PS4 and has Yuzo (Streets of Rage) Kashiro doing the music! http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/03/04/monster-boy-launching-on-ps4-this-year/

Yes, and that lovely Super Famicom/SNES 3DS XL is Japan-only... And in case anyone didn't realize, you can only play these SNES games on the "new" 3DS, not the older models. Surely if the DS can emulate a N64, a normal 3DS can run a Super Famicom/SNES emulator?

Played (and beat) Axiom Verge (PS4) - nice game, great music, but wears its love for Metroid a bit too much on its sleeve... not that it is a bad thing; I just think the game early on is a bit too close of a direct ripoff. Surprised Nintendo didn't have anything to say...

Maybe he ran out of tracks

Visually, it's a lot better - they toned down that "brushy" ink style SF4 introduced, and the characters are more defined. BUT I AM BEGINNING TO HATE THE DITHERING EFFECT on the characters' shading.

It'll never live up to our expectations. Ever. Same can be said of any game now, cos gamers these days are hard to please. Even when Valve does release it, you'd still be under no obligation to buy it. No, because HL3 has been on everyone's tongue since 2004 and people have now been waiting for 10-11 years for any kind of news. And all the expectations that have been boiling around in all our heads for all those years will never be fulfilled with no matter what Valve ends up releasing. I'm sure it'll be good, but I'd rather see them make something new and original like they did with Portal... And for some reason I'm quite hyped for a new Left 4 Dead... ...anyway, there's nothing wrong with a healthy amount of cynicism. If I were Valve I'd release HL2 remastered.

Looks like Pokemon Moon and Sun are our two next games in the franchise:

As if anyone had to remind you, Uncharted 4 looks fucking amazing - better than some movie trailers of late: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU8CQbzkpwc There's also going to be a Nintendo Direct for Pokemon's 20th Anniversary this Friday at 9AM CST
-
So more like a movie experience - once the story's done, that's it - no real replayability (other than say completing challenges for trophies)?

Watching this too - the book is almost always better, but in this case they're doing a pretty good job so far in terms of an adaptation. Some things have changed, but nothing drastic that would detract from enjoying both the book and the series.

I noticed last night for the first time a few dropped inputs with my legacy stick too... Has anyone played Firewatch? Curious if it is as good as they say and is worth 20USD.
