    Rephlex currently has the vinyl, and will be sending it off this Friday most likely for ripping - I think the distinction here is this vinyl is unplayed, whereas Grant's copy has been used DJing, and I doubt Richard probably even knows where his is after all these years. Who knows, though. The reason they didn't rip this in advance (or provide source DATs, etc.) was the terms of the license for us to get the tracks - they stipulated they must come from the vinyl copy the seller had.

    Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate (PJS 1 + 2 uprezzed and extra bits added for PS4) out today on PS4 for PS Plus for FREE! The Puppeteer is an amazing game - less than halfway through, and I can't believe I passed on this gem the first time around. A must-play for anyone who enjoys a great story, great graphics, and creative gameplay.

    Oh, so folks are paying attention... hehe. Expect an announcement of some sort related to that in the coming days - as far as the digital files go, we're looking at next week most likely if all goes well with the ripping process.

    They haven't said (yet) if they are going to actually release this... they apparently are going to use it for their SSMB tournament. It would be nice to have and would pair nicely with my three WaveBird controllers... If anyone can beat Disney at the NFC figure game, I suspect Nintendo can - it will be interesting if they add new characters to SSMB Wii U by forcing people to buy the figures to get the in-game character...

    Aaaaaand it seems like 2014 will be quite a dry year... 2015 on the other hand... Oh, definitely - both Sony and Microsoft (should have) waited until 2014 (around the time last year they released the XBONE and PS4), and they both could have launched with a decent library of titles each, and perhaps some of the issues with some releases could have been ironed out with more development time.

    There still is no compelling reason to buy an XBONE/PS4 - hopefully E3 gives some reasons.

    If you haven't, I would hurry - a few more days at the most before the PayPal option (and all hope of buying this digitally and legally) goes bye bye. Well, they wouldn't be surprises if you knew when they were coming, would they?

    I think Bandcamp would be a far smarter way for Rephlex to do its online sales (takes all the hassle of running an online presence away for the most part).

    It's even getting it's own 3DS XL for the sequel. There's so many limited edition consoles now, I wonder if anyone has tried to collect them? Some are crazy limited numbers. They are predicting Yokai Watch as the next Pokemon... we shall see. I read an article today talking about how hard it would be to localize Yokai Watch since it's very Japanese (the monster names are Japanese puns that don't translate well, etc.) It looks like a fun game to play though!

    Well, yes - after it is legitimately released, I am sure some asshat will promptly upload it to the nearest filesharing site to claim whatever bounty has been placed on it. My point is it will not leak before the vouchers go out to everyone.

    Both my kids play it - yes, obsessed would be a good word to describe it. Got invited to Playstation Now Beta for PS3 (Sony's game streaming service coming soon) - while the selection of games was limited, I was very impressed at how well the video, audio, and input latency were.

    You do understand there are only 5 (6) people in this world that could leak this, right? mike p told last month in chatmm that there were about +10 copies of the CWLP handed out i've mentioned this before in a thread but it seems to have been ignored :c Yeah, I remember. Still, even if that many copies still existed, I doubt the folks who have them (especially in light of the Kickstarter thing) would leak the tracks after all this time.

    Richard's newest tracks are the result of his isolated living in the hills of Ireland - one track in particular is a sheep fart modulated at 20hz that he's managed to make it sound like a group of Jamaican acapella singers doing the theme to Inspector Gadget.

    Looks like the wifi support only affected 1st party titles and 3rd party ones run on completely independent servers. Connected to Goldeneye this morning and it worked but Mario Kart didn't. Well that is good news. Wii online FPS? How long to you wait for matchmaking, a week...?
