Satoshi Island is a real-life private island dedicated to the crypto community. The Island is 32 million sq foot of crypto paraidse (sic) located in the country of Vanuatu, tucked in between Australia and Fiji.

Anyone can own a piece of the island through the availability of 2100 blocks of land represented by 21,000 NFTs. Each block is divided into 10 NFTs and owners can develop their land with private homes or apartment complexes. Living on the island will be an experience like not other, with a targeted population of like minded individuals, crypto professionals and enthusiasts will be able to visit short term or live permanently on the island.

Satoshi Island is being developed with ultra-modern modular smart homes provided by Chief Architect, James Law Cybertecture (?). Owners can design to homes to their own specification on the Satoshi Island Metaverse-Reality before finalizing their builds on the real island. Crypto companies and events will also have a home on the island and will be invited to establish themselves, opening them up to a multitude of opportunities.

too bad those elected officials in DC can't work together on something for once

we're at a point now where both the right and left want their own platforms for everything- so rather than having something that unifies, we literally have everything that divides (from social media, money/crypto/wealth inequality etc or whether or not we're destroying the planet)

shit- even vince is starting to sound less convincing as "a ruthless billionaire" these days

For a nation's economy to function effectively, its citizens must have confidence in its money and payment services. The Federal Reserve, as the nation's central bank, works to maintain the public's confidence by fostering monetary stability, financial stability, and a safe and efficient payment system.

This paper is the first step in a public discussion between the Federal Reserve and stakeholders about central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). For the purpose of this paper, a CBDC is defined as a digital liability of a central bank that is widely available to the general public. In this respect, it is analogous to a digital form of paper money. The paper has been designed to foster a broad and transparent public dialogue about CBDCs in general, and about the potential benefits and risks of a U.S. CBDC. The paper is not intended to advance any specific policy outcome, nor is it intended to signal that the Federal Reserve will make any imminent decisions about the appropriateness of issuing a U.S. CBDC.

so far, this is a bland version of a P.T. Anderson film, not sure why all of these actors signed onto this. everyone in this version seems like a douche except maybe Pamela.

tried watching this last night and couldn't get into it. i hate that comedy angle they're trying to play where not much is happening and what it seemingly takes forever (i.e. tommy wants a giant bed in the middle of his bedroom. then he wants it in the corner. then he wants a water bed. all while never even paying a deposit on any of this stuff?) also- there's wayyyyy to much music every few seconds.

if there weren't so many interruptions just to get through the first 30 minutes, maybe they'd have something i can latch onto and follow, but as it stands, might as well watch those VH1 behind the music docs and get the story in under 40 minutes without all the goofy comedy acts
